Ch-1 Convincing mahi bhai

Virat was getting bored. Very bored. He didn't know what to do. The T20s had finished and odis were going to start but after seven days. And since they were in Australia, no one wanted to go to India and come here again as it would be exhausting.

After much thinking, he finally got an idea. He grinned at the wonderful idea he had thought but knew that he would have to convince mahi bhai for it to work.
He quickly went to mahi bhai's room, hoping that he would agree.

As vi entered he saw mahi bhai was doing something on his phone.
"What are you doing mahi bhai?" He asked as he went and sat beside him.
"Just wondering which new bike i can buy." Mahi answered and then showed him his phone which had different pictured of different bikes.

"Which do you like?' he asked vi.
"They are all the same." Vi answered not very interested as he was more focussed on convincing mahi bhai to be a part of his wonderful idea.
"They are not the same " mahi said looking at him with a frown.
"Leave this, i want to talk to you." Vi said.
"Just give me some time, i want to select a nice bike." Mahi answered again looking at the photos.

"No, first listen to me." Vi insisted.
Mahi sighed and put his phone down. "Okay what happened?" He asked.
"I was getting bored and then i got an idea." Vi said grinning.
Mahi knew this grin meant nothing good but then also he decided to ask "what idea?"

"We should prank the whole team." Vi said.
"No" mahi said immediately not even shocked that cheeku was suggesting something like this.

"Please i have got the perfect prank too." Vi requested. "At least listen to me."
"Okay well what's the prank?" mahi asked.
"So when we were coming to this hotel yesterday, i heard harry tell kul and yuzi about how this hotel is considered to be haunted. They didn't believe him, of course, but we can make them and everyone else believe that." Vi finished grinning.

"No, we are not going to scare them or make them believe anything." Mahi immediately said.
"Common mahi bhai please." Vi said trying to convince him.
"No cheeku. There's no need to trouble anyone. We have a series to concentrate on."

"But right now a break is going on, that too a long one" Vi said.
Mahi just shook his head saying "i don't want to be a part of this. This is a bad idea."

"Okay then, i will not talk to you." Said virat turning his face on the other side.

"Ckeeku listen to me, we shouldn't trouble everyone. Do you have any idea how much trouble it would cause?" Mahi said trying to explain him.

"Just tell the truth that you don't love me anymore. You are always worried about others, you don't care about my feelings anymore." Vi said in a fake sad tone.

Mahi sighed. He knew virat was just doing drama to convince him but he still couldn't handle vi not talking to him or saying that he doesn't love him anymore. Because virat was very very special to him.

"Cheeku listen to me, be reasonable...." Mahi was about to continue but vi interrupted.
"Dont even bother, i know you dont love me." He said and got up and started to go towards the door, but slowly as he knew that mahi bhai will agree now.

And he was right. "Okay stop cheeku." Mahi said standing up and going to him. "we will do it." He said.
"Really?" Vi asked looking at him, smiling brightly.
Mahi nodded and vi quickly hugged him.
"You are the best." Vi said.
Mahi smiled seeing how excited vi has gotten and hugged him back.
"But i have a condition." Mahi said as they parted from the hug.

"What?" Vi asked.
"We are not going to do it for a long time. We will end it in two to three days. It shouldn't affect anyone's game."
Vi nodded too excited to care about the time. Even if it was only for two to three days he was ready.

"So then what's the plan?" Mahi asked.
Vi grinned mischievously and told the whole plan that he had made in such a little time.

Since it's a very special day- that is the king's birthday, i decided to finally publish this story whose idea i had gotten way back and was in my draft for a long time.
This will be a short story with only few chapters and i hope you will like it.
