Chapter 3

A/N I too you chapter 2 was short. Just so you know, Fitz lovers will hate this chapter. But dont worry. I am a Fitz lover and I am not mad at it. By that's mostly because I know what happens. Plz comment more. Follow me and vote for me. :-)

She woke up lying on the ground, face down in the carpet. She was picked up by strong arms and they brought her to her bed. Luckily none of her friends had called her parents upstairs to her room. They all were looking ay her, with worried and confused looks. She didn't know who had picked her up. Dex's lips were moving like he was talking. But she couldn't hear anything. Everyone kept talking anyways. It looked like they were saying her name. Finally she could hear what they were saying.

"I think we should get Edaline and Grady," said Dex, heading towards thr door. "No!" Yelled Fitz, Keefe and Biana. "Why not?" Dex asked. "Because we can handle this ourselves,Deck." Answered Fitz. He walked over to Sophie and put his fingers on her temples, probably tryin to probe her. He didn't get a chance to try because she punched him as hard as she could in the stomach. She even smiled to herself a little bit.

"Ouch," said Fitz. And them he collapsed.

"Foster, I hate to say this, but YOU. ARE. CRAZY."said Keefe.

He said I could do it if something happened or if I hated the dare, transmitted Sophie, still too weak to talk. Well, mostly the hate the dare part. "Still didn't have to do it," muttered Biana.He said it the first time I went to Lewin, because I am afraid of doctors, you know and- Keefe snorted."Seems like you love the doctor, counting how many times you've went to the Healing Center," he said. ANYWAYS, he said if anything happened I could punch him as hard as I could in the stomach. I didn't. But just before we, you know, kissed- "Actually you didn't," interrupted Keefe. Sophie shot him a look. Ok, before you even said the dare he said I could punch him in the stomach afterwards. And I was confused. Now I am not. And I did it.

"You still have some explaining to do, Sophie," said Biana. Dex hasn't said anything for awhile. Except he was smirking at Fitz's collapsed body.

Not until I talk to your dad, please. Let's pretend like nothing happened and go back to the sleepover."OK?"She could finally talk. Everyone looked back and forth between her and Fitz. She knew what they were thinking.Act like nothing happened? A minute ago you couldn't talk and Fitz is laying on the ground unconscious." OK! Geez, just don't tell Grady and Edaline." She said. They looked at eachother. "Ok," they agreed. Sophie went over to Fitz and kicked his side. "Ouch!" Said Fitz. "Whahappedmystomahur." No one answered.

Sophie was in another world. Well, another time. The moment when she woke up in the Healing Center with Fitz unconscious in the bed next to her. "Whahappenwhereai?" He had said. Then she was back. With a deep breath. They glanced at her but then looks away, still waiting for someone to answer. Finally Keefe said," Why don't you ask that to Foster?" Everyone turned and looked at Sophie. "You said I could punch you in the stomach if I hated the dare. So then I punched you in the stomach. And it was when you least expected it," she said with a smug grin. "You hated the dare?" He asked confused. "Fine then!" He got up. " I might as well leave!" He left the room. He didn't light leap when he got outside though. He went to the caves. Everyone stood there co fused.

Sophie ran outside. "Fitz! Wait. I didn't mean it like that." Fitz kept walking. He stopped and spun around, with the same look as when he was yelling at her and blaming her for Alden's mind breaking. "Then what did you mean by it? It DID mean something to me. I'm sorry you're such a freak and I'm not good enough for you." His words stung her. He started walking towards the edge of the cliff. "Fitz, please. Just stay here," she begged. She ran to him and grabbed his hand. It brought no memories. Fitz shooke it off and started rising. Jusr like when Fitz, Sophie and Alden had flown out of Atlantis. When did he learn how to do that? But he was going too high. Eventually, his energy failed and he started falling towards the waves and pointy rocks below him. Sophie tried to catch him with telekinesis, but it doesn't work on people. He fell towards the rocks, and Sophie covered her ears and closed her eyes to cover the terrible sounds of pain that she knew he was making. Then, except for the sound of the waves below, it was silent.
