Chapter Eleven - White Wine In A Weatherspoons

It was the day of the first trial, nerves were flying through the corridors as students were making their way to their seats. "I CAN'T FUCKING BELIEVE IT STACY. I REFUSE. NO WAY." Carson was mad. Fuming in fact. You see, the professors had rearranged the seats for the events, usually, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff would be sat next to one another but this time they were not.
"I KNOW, UGH THIS IS SO ANNOYING!" Anastasia shouted. "Who you going to sit with?" She asked curiously.
"Probably Fennela, we're kinda friends now I guess, after the party I mean." She replied, picking up her satchel. "What about you?"
"Probably Luna" Carson nodded.

The pair had separated and moved over to their seats as the first challenge was about to begin. Everyone held their breaths as the cannon sounded for the first candidate to emerge. It was Cedric. Carson shot up from her seat after seeing him wonder out from the tent. She held her breath intently as she watched him conduct all sorts of spells to distract the dragon. He summoned his broom and began to fly, casting more and more spells towards the godforsaken creature. Carson grasped onto the edge of the railing, now, cheering for the boy. In one clean sweep the boy threw a spell towards the dragon and grasped the golden egg. It was incredible. The next cannon sounded, signalling for Cedric to come off the pitch, he flew into the tent as the next contestant came out of the door. Carson looked past the champions tent to see Cedric walking out, hand in hand with.... Cho Chang....? What was this? Why was he with her? Why where they holding hands? Thoughts flooded her mind, making her go foggy, leaving her with just  a blur. The rest of the tournament was like a fever dream, why was she so hurt by this?

After the tournament, pupils gathered themselves into the courtyard to see what was inside of the egg. Rumour has it, it was a clue. Students flooded the small area, Carson just so happened to notice the gathering as snuck herself into the back. Everyone was cheering for the boy. The crowd encouraged him to open the egg, over all of the shouting and yelling l, the champion opened the egg, letting out the most ungodly screech. Students covering their ears to hide from the terror that he had just awoken, he silenced the egg. A Slitherin stood up next to the captain and spoke out to the crowd,
"CEDRIC DIGGORY EVERYONE!" The student lifted his arm in triumph and victory. Cedric held his hand out for Cho, he lifted her up to him as she flung her arms round his neck, he placed his hands on her waist...and that is where Carson walked out, tear brimming eyes, she dashed her way through the corridors, wiping the rogue tear from her face.

As Carson sprinted, she bumped into someone, "Carrie," Carson tried to push past "Carrie slow down, what's the matter?" It was Anastasia who had stopped her,
"I hate Diggory, I hate him so fucking much." She spoke bluntly towards her friend. "He's a cunt. I hate him."
"Listen Carrie, come with me, you'll be ok my love." Anastasia escorted Carson away for the time being.

Hiya, I'm so so sorry that this chapter (or the past few chapters for that matter) isn't overly long, I've not been too well recently and I have exams coming up, and I've been trying to manage my time with something some other things too.
