【34.7 YOU ARE MY STRENGTH】
The peace of the whole kingdom that was dazzling at night got disrupted by a thunderous roar. A single armour broke free everything and everyone out of the ice.
The moment the armour blew up, it shattered and burst the ice. The shock waves caused by the explosion traversed the buildings and other surroundings. The display seemed as if heaven had descended an apocalypse over that place.
Moments later, everything got settled down and left a huge gigantic crater in sight. The whole ground and the surroundings became the victim of that annihilation. Except that, two people were standing in the centre of that huge crater. A single bruise couldn't make contact with their bodies. The breeze was swaying their clothes and hair gently.
They were Zior and Savannah!
Their faces didn't hold any expression and their eyes were looking strangely dull. It was true, that the flames caused by the armour couldn't bring any harm to the owner and to his comrades.
Some buildings were receded to the ground and some were partly annihilated. A heap of stones had begun to erupt out of the roof of a partly wrecked building. After rising up to a height, those stones built into Earth. Kasira and Manzu were being carried into its chiseled arms. Those arms were huge enough for them to comfortably sit on them.
If Earth hadn't moved under the ground at the last moment, Manzu and Kasira would definitely get caught up in that disaster.
Earth put them down. Manzu patted on its forearm. "Thank you, Earth."
"There's no need for you to thank me, Sire Manzu. This is what I've been called up here for."
Manzu gave it his warm smile before turning his head to Kasira. "I'll take care of Zior while you deal with Savannah." He unhooked his robe and tossed it away. He folded his sleeves and passed a smirk to Kasira.
His body always stayed hidden under the robe he kept wearing. Today, those well built curves were visible through the fabric. The fabric was strained at his biceps, forearms and chest.
Kasira cracked her knuckles. "You just snatched the words out of my mouth." He pressed her palms against her knees and leaned forward. "Let's do this, Earth, like old times."
"As you wish, Madame Kasira."
Earth embraced her between its stone-slabs like arms and sank into the ground.
"Let's do this, Zior." Manzu spoke to himself. A flashy white light stretched out behind him as he coursed his way toward Zior. Both clashed their forearms with each other as soon as Maznu flashed before Zior's face.
Air gusted around there when those nerve-popping forearms clashed with each other. Their bodies were brimming with urjah. Soon, The battle between both buddies began, they both were fighting at the speed of light.
One could hear the sounds of crack, crush, clash....but it was impossible to see them fighting with naked eyes. Both were tossing each other away, both were piercing through the buildings. The grounds were crumbling, blood was splattering in the air. It seemed as if two radiant lights, one blue and the other golden were traveling in the air crashing with each other. It seemed as if an interdimensional battle was going on between those two lights.
One wrong step, one wrong decision, one wrong move could take one's life in jeopardy. Manzu hadn't forgotten the promise he had made with Kasira.
He could make things simple with his spells but he didn't want to hurt his old war buddy. He knew that all this needed to end but How?
Killing is not an option, and against Zior it seemed impossible to just black out him with a sucker punch. One had to stop this chaos by defeating the caster, but who will do this?
Both Kasira and Manzu's hands were already caught up in stopping Zior and Savannah. WHO COULD BRING END TO THIS CHAOS?
On the other hand, Kasira was doing her best to stop Savannah. Savannah's metal fabricated cloth was woven in four clover petals. They slithered close to each other and shaped a hollow circle. Inside it, a golden urjah was accumulating, that let out a screeching voice.
That accumulated urjah took the form of an orb, it looked like a glowing golden Sun. Kasira sensed a bad feeling about that.
In no time, that Sun beamed a thick laser pulse at Kasira. As it was going to pierce through Kasira's head, a huge gigantic concrete hand erupted out of the ground and shielded Kasira from that laser.
IT WAS EARTH'S DOING!
It again came to the rescue for her Madame Kasira. Crashing with that concrete hand, the laser diverged into two different directions. The laser pierced through the buildings and thundered a roar.
Suddenly, the land underneath Kasira's feet became resilient. Noticing that, Kasira got what Earth wanted her to do. The waves of the resilient land surfed her way to Savannah while dodging all the lasers.
As she was about to reach Savannah a metal armored hand oozed out of the ground, near to her feet. She sensed a cold touch on her feet. First she frowned looking at the armored hand around her feet but when she realised what it actually was, she couldn't hold her eyes open-wide.
And then Boom! Another annihilation was brought over that place but this time it came with a price - Kasira. Armour was sneaked into ground that caused the whole land to rip apart and shred into pieces. This attack was especially done for Earth.
Earth could harden its body before taking any harm to itself, that was one of its skills. But this time, it wasn't aware of the fact that the armour had already sneaked into the ground. Letting its guard down led it to blow up in pieces.
A white flash had screened Kasira's eyes that forced her to shut her eyes. When she opened her eyes, she found herself being carried into Manzu's arms.
Half side of Manzu's tunic had burnt to ash and caused half of his badly burnt body to expose in air. Purplish red coloured patches had sheltered on the burnt side of his body. Blood was blobbing down from his shoulder to the tip of his elbow.
To save her wife, he had to cast a teleportation spell. But from the looks of his injuries, it seemed that he just barely made it in time. He straight teleported on top of a building. He was sitting on his toes.
Blood was streaking from his forehead down to his jaw line. He beamed a radiant warm toothily grin to Kasira. He was happy to see her completely unharmed.
Kasira covered her mouth with both hands to see Manzu's condition. Tears rolled down from her eyes.
"Ma....Manzu."
She gradually cupped her hand around his cheek. Manzu side-glanced at her hand as if he knew that she was going to cast a spell on him.
He cupped his hand over her hand. He brought her hand close to his lips and kissed her hand.
"You need your strength."
Manzu knew that whenever her elemental spirits got harm it also took a toll on her body. It caused her body to get numbed for some moment.
"You are my strength." She smiled wistfully looking into his eyes. "Armanasarmantra!"
After reciting the spell a blue light shone upon the injured side of his body. His injuries and wounds began to stitch together at a visible pace as if those injuries were never there on his body.
After that, her eyes drooped down and she got unconscious. She knew that Earth's end took a toll on her body but she still managed to heal Manzu's wounds before going unconscious.
He gently put her down on the roof and rose up to his feet.
"And....You are my strength, Kasira."
