~~~~~~~~ Nanami has acquired a bratty new tenant into his home. She was the granddaughter of his middle school teacher. He had a good relationship with the old man and since he was the only one the elder trusted with such a task, Nanami had allowed the youthful girl free shelter under his roof after the elder's death; so long as she stayed in school. However, to say he was in over his head would be a major understatement. She was obnoxious and loud. Always drinking, out late at night, and arguing with him. Yet despite that, she always cleans after herself, cooks meals for both of them, and makes excellent grades. The girl is the reason his smoking habits have gotten worse and he even started drinking more. If not for her being so young, he would have long since put that brat in her place.
Nanami was exhausted from work and needed some winding down. So he decided to have a drink at his usual bar which, as luck would have it, Gojo was present as well. "Nanami! Long time no see, Buddy. How's it been?" Gojo greeted obnoxiously loud as Nanami had a seat beside the lean male. "I see you're as annoying as always, Gojo.". Gojo gasped dramatically as he put a hand on his chest. "How rude. But in any case..." he paused to lower his tone, signaling the bartender for a refill, "How's life with that cute new tenant?". Nanami groaned at the mention of his female housemate. "I don't understand her. One moment, she's this sweet, hardworking student with one of the highest ranks if not the highest. Then the next, she's this bratty little troublemaker who makes my blood sugar go sky high. And she's not breaking any law nor is her grades dropping and she seems fine before going to school. But the moment she comes back...," Nanami sighed, as he chugs the first cup of whiskey for the night. "Damn. Looks like you got your hands full with that one. Maybe try paying attention to her friends. They might be the cause of her switch up.". "Already have. They're a bunch of troublemakers as well, but their grades are nothing to laugh at. They've come over a few times during exam week and they radiate a different aura from their usual selves.". The white hair male hummed as he took another sip from his cup. "Maybe something about you reminds her of the old man and she hasn't properly healed from his untimely death. That might be some cause of the constant outburst.". That's when it dawned on him. He has a lot of similarities to his teacher and though he has suggested it, the girl never spoke about going to therapy. "You might have a point.". "Also, be more assertive. She may be young, but she is not a child. She needs to understand how things work as an adult.". 'I'm not so sure about that.". "Come on, Nanami. She's twenty. Only seven years younger than you. I'm not saying be aggressive with the girl, just lay out the conditions of staying in your home.". Gojo was met with silence as the blonde beside him thought about what he said. "And while you're at it, why don't you admit your attraction to her.". The blond man choked on his whiskey at the sudden suggestion. "I beg your pardon.". "Don't play coy with me, Nanami. Had she'd been anyone else, she would have gotten the boot no matter who they were.". "She's is my teacher's granddaughter.". "And she's super hot. A bit too young for my preference, but still very attractive to catch my eye.". "But that's not hard to do.". "Fair enough.". It was quiet for a moment as Gojo paid for his drinks and while he walks away, he stated over his shoulder "Just talk it out. I'm sure things will work out. Night.". With that, the man left Nanami with thoughts on his mind and a glass of whiskey in his hand.
