"I need to talk to you outside. And only you." The man spoke as he pointed toward the door. Shoto nodded his head as he released his fingers from Bakugo's hand and walked outside, the man following after.

"What do you want." Shoto said as they got outside. He looked his father blankly into his eyes. There's nothing he wanted to say or hear from the old man.

"Shoto, I just wanted to say that..." Shoto's breath hitched. Was his father going to apologize after all this time. After everything he but him, his siblings, and mother through. "That the Amami's had canceled the set up we had for you two. You're lucky kid, but just know that I am not letting you get married to that boy or any boy."

Shoto was shocked, but also pissed. Sure he was glad he didn't have to marry the Amami's daughter, yet his father still won't let him be with the one he wants to. Does Shoto really care at this point though? Fuck no. He's tired of his fathers shit and tired of him controlling his life.

"I'm sorry Father. You no longer choose who I date or who I like. You can beat me for all I care, but you will never change my mind about the one I love." Shoto spat back as he pointed to the inside, basically talking about Bakugo. "I gotta go. Please leave."

Shoto finished off as he went back into the living area, closing the door on his asshole of a father. He saw that no one has noticed he came back in. Looking around the room, he saw Bakugo on the couch. Not really feeling like talking to anyone, not even the blond, he went back up to his room. He texted the blond just to let him know.

It was a few hours after Todoroki talked with his dad. He was currently curled up in his bed with a locked door. Bakugo knocked on it earlier but when he got no answer, he assumed the younger was either asleep or didn't want any company at the moment. Shoto suddenly heard a knock at his window. Curiosity getting the best of him, he got up and slid open his door. He looked around seeing no one there. Instead he saw a blue box with a black bow sitting on the railing. He grabbed the box, bringing it back inside.

"Sorry the present is a bit early. The guy I got it from was gonna be gone for the rest of the month lol. Happy early birthday little brother." Shoto read the card out loud that was attached to the box.

He forgot that every year his eldest brother would give him a surprise. He was the only one in their family that knew he was alive also.

Shoto preceded to open the box. He already had an idea of what was in it and he guessed correctly. Inside was a vape and another note. He open the other note before proceeding with the vape.

"I trust you to be safe with this. If I find out you're not being safe with it, I'll hurt you myself. And remember, only use it for emergencies. (not wanting to remember shit from earlier). Love ya little bro -Touya."

Todoroki took a breath in. He hated using the little demon and he knew it did him no good. At the same time, there was some shit he didn't want to remember at the moment.

Vaping is NOT a good coping mechanism. If you ever need to talk, tell me and I'll let you talk to me on a personal note. Please take care of yourself instead of drowning everything in drugs and/or alcohol.

He picked up the vape, putting it up to his mouth. He inhaled the smoke for the first time in a few months. After a few seconds he exhaled the vapor into the air. He put the box down and laid back on his bed. He repeated the actions a few times before he started to feel a bit out of it. He suddenly heard a knock on the door. Not being in the right mindset, he threw the vape on the bed and answered the door.

"Hey Sho, I just wanted to come make sure you were feeling better." Bakugo said as the younger opened the door.

"Mhm~" Shoto lowly giggled as he grabbed the blonds wrist, dragging him into his room. "I feel amazing! You shouldn't worry about me!"

The change in Todoroki's voice worried Bakugo a little bit. He was about to ask the younger something but Todoroki was already laying back in his bed with his vape in hand. Bakugo didn't see the vape at first so he walked closer to the younger. He sat down next to him, making Todoroki sit up. Bakugo was about to ask his question again but this time got interrupted by smoke being blown in his face. He then realized the vape in the younger's hand.

"Shoto what is this?!?" Bakugo said as he took the vape from the younger's hand. The boy started to whimper.

"It's a vape~" Shoto said as he tried to reach for it, "Can you give it back now?"

Shoto was now starting to straddle the older. This took Bakugo by surprise, but nonetheless he didn't drop the younger's vape.

"Sho I can't let you do this to yourself. Try getting some rest instead. I'll stay in here with you okay?" Bakugo said as he laid the male down who tried to fight against it.

Once he finally got Todoroki to lie down and asleep, he threw the vape away into the trash can in Shoto's room. He made sure to cover the fucker up pretty good so Todoroki couldn't find it. After he did that, he went to go stay in the bed with the boy like he said he would. Bakugo cuddle close to the male who returned the favor. After a few minutes, Bakugo feel asleep with the half and half male in his arms.

(I just realized, I made so much happen in one fucking day in the last three chapters. Let me just get my shit together I swear)

Todoroki was the first to wake up. When he tried to get out of bed, he noticed that he was engulfed in a pair of muscular arms. Looking behind him, he saw the boy he loved oh so much. Knowing that he wouldn't be able to get out of the blonds grip soon, he accepted his fate and grabbed his phone.

After a few minutes he felt the blonds grip around his waist loosened up. He looked behind himself once again just to be met with crimson red eyes. For some reason, those eyes brought back some memories of the events that happened that night. He remembered the blond catching him with his little vape. He then got scared of what the older would say now that Todoroki has full consciousness.

"Good morning peppermint." Bakugo said as he started to get out of the bed. He then recalled the memories of last night himself. Looking at the other boy in bed he sighed before saying what needed to be said. "Sho, I know you don't want to talk about last night, but I just want to know you're okay."

Todoroki knew the blonds curiosity was going to ask. He also knew there was no way for him to get out of this little mess.

"I'm sorry." Todoroki mumbled.

"There is no reason for you to be sorry love, but next time you feel like drowning your sorrows, come to me and we can talk about it. I'm not going to let you struggle by yourself cause what kind of boyfriend would that make me in the future?" Bakugo said as he cupped the younger's cheeks. He saw tears threatening to fall out of his beautiful heteroaromatic eyes. He hated how sad those eyes would look and the pain they held.

"My brother bought it for me as a birthday gift. He has brought me one since I turned 16, but to get it he made me promise him I would use it safely."

"Does Natsuo also vape?" Bakugo said as he was now holding Todos hand for comfort.

Todoroki shook his head. "My oldest brother gets it for me. Not Natsuo."

Bakugo didn't say anything after that. When Shoto told the older about his father, he mentioned his oldest brother and he could tell that he was uncomfortable talking about him. He wanted to respect the younger's boundaries, so he decided not to question any further.

"Come on. Let's go get some breakfast. I'm STARVING!" Bakugo said as he got out of the bed, along with a giggling Todoroki.
