jeongin is a regular high school boy, his whole life is normal, he has an amazing and supportive family, he's wealthy, but there's this one thing that bothers him so much.
there's this thing in his world called 'love alarm' it's an app, how does it work you ask? Pretty easy, it rings when someone in your 10-meter radius harbors romantic feelings for you, jeongin never got a ring ever since the app came out.
jeongin doesn't really use his love alarm that much, he doesn't care that much about it, and what bothers him most about it is the people around him getting their rings on their love alarms, he just wishes people could naturally find their love, not over some dumb app, but then one day, during school break time, felix, jeongins best friend came over to the younger "INNIE!! GUESS WHAT, OH MY GOSH!!" jeongin groans and covers his ears, "what lix?" felix pulls out his phone, it was a screenshot photo of his love alarm app, and it had a ring on it, "okay, so who's the one?" jeongin rolls his eyes as he asks the older, felix squeals, "CHAN!!" felix jumps excitedly, "he likes me!!" jeongin sighs, "and how could you know that, there's so many people that were in your ten meter radius?" felix chuckles, "well basically, when it ringed, first, chan was in my ten meter radius of course, and second, he looked at me and smiled when he heard the ring on his and my phone!"
"okay, cool, now go reach for him I guess..." jeongin says, then sighs and takes out his earbuds and turns on his music, felix sighs 'I hope you find your love so you can finally smile innie.' felix thinks while walking away.
'next day'
jeongin and felix were walking down the hallway, today, felix forced jeongin to use his love alarm app, and of course it took a whole century for jeongin to agree to felix's idea, now both boys were looking at the youngers phone.
"come on lix, it won't ring, can we just quit?" jeongin groans, felix shakes his head as in 'no you hoe, we are doing this wether you like it or not.' jeongin sighs.
suddenly, felix got a call, "hold on, go ahead, I'll catch up later innie, channie is calling me." felix waves, jeongin doing the same, he sighs and continues walking while looking at his phone screen.
after a while or so, jeongin groans in frustration "you know what, it's just a stupid app, forget it." but before he could turn off his phone, he bumped into someone, "ow!" he looks at the person that he bumped into, it was the popular guy, hyunjin, who in fact was looking down at jeongin too with the same expression the younger had.
but before both boys could say anything, there was a ring coming from both of their phones, both boys looking at their love alarms, jeongins eyes widen, same with hyunjin, they both look at each other in shock, "you like me?" they say at the same time.
