——Unfortunately, y/n wasn't able to see the girl named Anya Forger. As soon as them and their family walked outside, y/n was dragged away by their parents for a mini celebration after their interview.
Y/n would've used their psychokinesis powers to push them back, but then they would have a hard time explaining why there was an indescribable force pushing their parents against their will.
"Thanks mom and dad, I appreciate the thought but I would have loved to see this Anya Forger." Y/n mentally sighed.
The family went to an expensive dessert shop, and y/n was allowed to pick anything from the store. They were pleasantly delighted, and y/n decided to pick a fancy-looking (favourite dessert).
"Thanks mom, thanks dad!" Y/n cheerfully exclaimed. They sat down at a nearby table, and y/n enjoyed their favourite dessert. Their parents gave them a soft smile in return.
"I wonder if it's the same Anya... I mean it's possible for someone else entirely to be named Anya, plus someone as air-headed as her wouldn't even make it past the first stage of Eden Academy's test." Y/n thought, thinking back on their sister.
"It would be funny if she read my mind right now."

—— Fitting into their uniform, they were quite looking forward to something for a change. It was rare for y/n to be interested in something, since many things bored them.
"At least this will be a change of some sort in my life, otherwise every day just sort of felt the same to me." Y/n thought.
After fixing a strand of their hair, they proceeded outside of their room to meet their family butler, already waiting.
"Follow me to the car, mx." He bowed politely at y/n, before walking towards a sleek black car that looked very luxurious.
And indeed luxurious it was.
The interior of the car was amazing, with cushioned seats that were oddly comfortable to sit in, with fixed light on the ceiling of the car that wasn't too bright or too dim.
