"Do your dogs always stay out?" The question surprised Leo and his eyes flickered to Shawn as he drove to his home, following the GPS.

"They are kennel trained. I put them in there while you were sleeping. This morning, I put them into the backyard to run around." He explained, amused the male was interested in his dogs that he had seemed afraid of before. Though he figured Shawn's question came from one place; would he have to tolerate the dogs often when staying at Leo's place?

"They won't get out?"

"No. As I told you before, I put them both into extensive training classes. It wasn't cheap either, but they are good dogs. I have a bond with them that I hold dear." At his words, Shawn snorted and crossed his arms over his chest. His eyes remained trained on the window, watching their passing surroundings.
"Are you afraid of them?"

"I don't like dogs." Shawn sniffed, turning to scowl at him. Leo gave him a side smile, reaching over to place his hand on his thigh and squeeze.

"They won't hurt you, Shawn. I can promise you that. You should give them a chance, actually. They are very cuddly-"

"I'm good." Shawn practically spit the two words, cutting Leo off midsentence.

"Do not cut me off." Shawn winced as the male dug his fingers into his thigh before loosening his grip.
"Why are you afraid of them? Have you been attacked by a dog?"

Shawn remained silent at the question and Leo's lips pressed into a thin line. He gently ran his fingers over his thigh before sighing quietly.
"As a kid."

The response he finally received startled Leo, but he offered a small nod.
"I understand. I stand by what I said, they will not hurt you. My home is their home and I would like it if you could adjust to them." Shawn grew quiet at his words and Leo let out a quiet chuckle, squeezing his thigh once more before they came to his home.
"Will you allow me to come in?"

Shawn seemed taken aback by his words, hesitating before he nodded. He climbed out of the car, not looking to Leo as he made his way to the door and unlocked it. He made his way inside, pausing by the door before he cursed. He ran a hand through his hair, tilting his head back before turning to face Leo.
"Are you going to judge me, Leo?" He questioned lowly.

His words earned a look of confusion, laced with concern as well.
"No, Shawn. My intent is only to help you, I will not judge you." He promised. Shawn studied him a moment longer before he stepped back. His place had not been picked up much and beer cans still sat on the counter and table.

Leo stepped into the home and allowed his eyes to roam the room. He noted the many different alcohols, also mentally noting how many times Shawn had been drunk at the club. The male seemed to be an alcoholic.
"Do you drink often, Shawn?"

"Yes." Shawn answered the question truthfully as he pushed past Leo to make his way to his bedroom. As he passed, he paused briefly at Victor's room. His eyes trailed the door, and he felt a pang as he remembered the male would not be in there. Nor would he ever be again. He reached out, brushing his fingers against the hole he had punched. Though he jumped in surprise when he felt a hand on his shoulder.

"Victor's room?"

"Yeah." He gave a slow nod, his head tilting where he could study Leo. His eyes were dark in color, and he reached out to touch the door before clicking his tongue.

"Don't punch holes in things at my house. It will get you into serious trouble." He sighed, before he reached for the doorknob. He was shocked when Shawn quickly grasped his wrist to stop him.
