I was on my way to Tae after returning a book when my steps were halted..
"Hi.. I guess.. We share the same high school.."
It's almost the end of our first year in College.. How come I never seen him before?
"Hi.. Yeah.. I remember you.."
"Really?"
"Tee, right?"
"Yes.. I'm.. Happy to meet you here.."
He offered a handshake and I extended my hand to his reach..
"I was so nervous you'll think I'm a creep or a weirdo.."
"Nope.. It's pure coincidence that we meet here, right?"
There was a pause on his end before responding..
"Yes.. It is.. A coincidence. Let me help you with that.."
He then offered to carry some of my stuff tho they're not that heavy..
"How come I just see you around?"
I started to kill the growing tension between us..
"I transferred during second semester.. Most of my schedules are mostly at Y building.. So I don't need to roam around that much.."
Oohh.. But suddenly arrived here. Y building itself has the biggest source of books..
"I see.."
"Uhm.. Copter.. Can I buy something for you?"
I know we were schoolmates in high school.. And I intentionally didn't introduce my name again to him..
But he seemed to completely remember me.
"Sure.. Treat me some sticky mango.."
He laughed and said..
"Heyy.. I'm not your boyfriend.."
We laughed about it.. I tried to go along as nonchalant as I could as I offered..
"Want to meet Tae today as well?"
He stopped on his tracks as if I caught him off guard..
"I don't think Tae will mind.. You're also helping me to carry my stuff.. And.. It's pretty boring to wait all by myself.."
I felt my phone buzzing on my pocket.. It must've been Tae looking for me.. I'm pretty much late already than the usual.
"R-Really? It's okay for me to come?"
I return my attention back to him and nodded confirming my words.. He still looked hesitant but answered..
"Then.. I'm good to tag along."
