Mary's pov

It's been 3 days since he started ignoring me. I have been allowed to roam freely in the house and in the garden.
Everyone has been good to me and Vladimir doesn't even care to look at me.
He often visits the mansion with lots of gifts for me and just leaves without uttering a word.
I don't know what's happening or what is going to happen, I have a weird feeling about everything. Actually everything seems it's not real. He has a weird fashion sense too like who the hell wears cute small frocks in this generation!?

Today they made me wear this cute little dress which has a sober look and soft textured cloth. Why does it matter? He doesn't even care to look at me.
*Sigh*

I stood in front of the mirror and saw my reflection.

"Seems cute though" I said as I adored the dress

*Chuckle*

Everyday they make me eat healthy and nutritious food with lots of deserts. I know I should not be enjoying this but food kind of distracts me from my anxiety and they know it very well.
*Sigh*
Anton often visits me and we have developed a good friendship within these days. I will be assigned today to read the rules and regulations to be followed here. Seriously?! They fuckin have a book about these rules.

"You look pretty hun" a soft voice said indeed Emily's.

I turned back to see her standing with a bright smile on her face. I too forced a smile and she escorted me till the library
On the 6th floor.

It was huge and antique filled with lots of ancient and antique books.
They were stacked perfectly, I was lost  adoring them my eyes sparkled just by looking at them. I love reading infact in my free time I used to read alot, autobiographies, novel, biographies and what not?
All the memories flashed brightly before my eyes.
*Sigh*

All the books stacked perfectly but one book caught all my attention. I took my slow steps towards it and tried to remove it from the deck. I saw the last 3 initials

"R I A"

"You are not supposed to touch anything here" a harsh voice said

I got startled and kept the book as it was.

"Uh-huh" I gave a smile filled with cringe and guilt.

"Sit here" head maid ordered me signalling to sit on the chair.

As soon as I sat she handed me the book.
*Rules*

"Everyday you will be given one hour to read it" she said

*I nodded*

I opened the first page and wowww!
These people are surely pshychopaths!

1. Follow master's orders.
2. Donot speak before he speak.
3. Never back answer to him
4. ..

.

100. Do not enter room no. 7

Or else die

Woww! Great! As If I didn't know any of these rules.
*Sigh*

I probably read the whole rules in 35 minutes I guess. I was bored and stretched myself on the chair.
Ugh.. what a good start of the day.
I glanced everywhere and stood up from the chair.

65. Not to touch anything without permission...hmmm

"Well well well what can I read next"
I talked to myself ready to break the rule.

I took my steps towards the book which I was curious about and

*Thud* I heard a loud voice I rushed downstairs to see what happened
