Victoria Hilton grew up in a home with only the finest of gold and tallest of windows. She spent her days wandering the gardens always finding more things to see.

On this day however it was time for her to pack her bags and to say fair well to the two people she never saw herself parting from.

"you know Victoria I've never thought this day would come, but you know your father is dreading to have you close" Her mum swept her into a hug, kissing her forehead. The strong scent of Chanel filling the right space between her and her mothers shoulder.

"I won't even be living with him" Victoria replied, a shred of sadness escaping within her words.

"I know sweetheart, but you'll see him on weekends" Looking into her mothers eyes Victoria could see the worry, maybe that's why her mothers eyes were such a grey colour, nothing good came from what her eyes laid upon.

"But when will I see you again?"

"That's up to your father, I love you so much" A small tear rolled off her mothers cheek and onto the white shirt she had planned on since last night.

"I love you more mama" Victoria could only simply reply before she broke down into tears once again.

. . . .

She had made it onto the train without running after her mother and grandmother. Finding a solid seat by the window in a back corner near the quite area of the hustling train she was finally able to open her beloved comfort read 'persuasion, by Jane Austen'

Victoria had earlier that day estimated the arrival, knowing she left at 2pm she would've hoped to arrive by 4pm just in time for the schools dinner time, but when the clock struck 5 she could hear the hunger her stomach was making.

"damn you dad" She swore quietly, hating her father for ever making her move 3 hours away from her only true parent just so he can be closer to his daughter. Which in her mind, didn't make sense because not to long ago she was the last person he apparently ever wanted to see.

Ever since her 4th birthday her father grew more distant, claiming it was work, then business trips, then he was over worked so decided to go on a cruise by "himself" to clear his mind. To then coming home with a divorce settlement. Nothing made sense to a four year old, let alone seeing the man who was meant to love her unconditionally, vanish before she had time to blink.

It was the starting of Autumn, but the crisp cool air still sent shivers down her spine. She hugged her brown cardigan closer to her hoping that will warm her up enough. City lights started to turn on and the school was slowly coming into view. The tall building looking like a castle, she wondered where her dorm room would be, hopefully it'll be somewhere with a nice view she thought.

Her father was to see her soon, but knowing him she would be left waiting for something that wont actually happen. She missed her mother, she missed her already.

The train came to a slow stop, looking over her shoulder to see the breath taking lights that showcased the school so perfectly. Trees surrounding the entrance, bittersweet orange leaves fallen from the tall trees. This was something out of a movie, and Victoria was the one ruling it.

"Hello dear, you must be the one and only Victoria Hilton" A elderly voice calls, snapping Victoria out of her star struck gaze.

"Well I am Victoria but I don't believe I'm the only one" She softly replied, a small smile pressed onto her lips.
