What is the news from God?
God wants us, people to enjoy our life on earth. He created everything, the earth and things surrounding us. He provided a better future for people in every land. He will relieve mankind from suffering.
Jeremiah 29:11
Sapagkat batid kong lubos ang mga plano ko para sa inyo; mga planong hindi ninyo ikakasama kundi para sa inyong ikabubuti. Ito'y mga planong magdudulot sa inyo ng kinabukasang punung-puno ng pag-asa.
No goverment has ever succeeded in eliminating violence, death, corruption and so on. But, Mayroon tayong magandang balita. Hindi mag tatagal at papalitan na ni God ang mga ito. Mag tatatag sya ng sarili nyang government that subjects will enjoy peace and good health.
Isiah 25:8
He will swallow up death
forever. The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove his people's disgrace from all the earth. The Lord has spoken.
Daniel 2:44
4 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
Why is the good news urgent?
Zephaniah 2:3
Hanapin ninyo ang Panginoon, ninyong lahat na maamo sa lupa, na nagsigawa ng ayon sa kaniyang kahatulan; hanapin ninyo ang katuwiran, hanapin ninyo ang kaamuan: kaypala ay malilingid kayo sa kaarawan ng galit ng Panginoon.
Suffering will end only when God clears the earth of bad people. The question is, When will that happen? Wala nino man ang nakaka alam. Ni mga anghel sa langit hindi nila alam. Pero, Pansinin natin ang ating paligid. May mga palatandaan na nag sasaad nang nalalapit nyang pagdating.
Timothy 3:1-5
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money,boastful, proud, abusive,disobedient to their parents,ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited,lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God- 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
What should we do?
We should learn about God from his Word, The bible. Ito ay katulad lang ng liham pag mamahal mula sa ating mapag mahal na Ama. It tells us how to enjoy a beyter way of life now and how to enjoy ever lasting life on earth in the future. Totoo, Hindi lahat ng tao ay nakakatanggap ng tulong para maintindihan ang bibliya. Pero ang opportunidad na ito ay talaga nga namang nakakapang hinayang.
Proverbs 29:25
Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.
Revelation 14: 6,7
6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
