I still think about what Jungwon said earlier, this boy overthinks me a lot. Though, he said just kidding right after, you don't blame me if I still blush about that sentence right?

"Where to put the glasses?" I ask Jungwon since the two of us insist on washing the plates, we decided to split the work. He washes it I dry it up and put them back.

"The cupboard on your left." He answered.

I quickly opened the cupboard He just teaches me where. When I opened it, I expected glasses but notebooks, journals, old newspaper greeted me instead.

One journal caught my attention it was a journal decorated with marvel, hearts, and star stickers. It was a one paged journal. I opened the journal, and it was a picture of me, Jungwon, and Ace.

My baby Ace. A very good Ace. My loved dog Ace.

That page was decorated with stickers, one thing in particular is Iron man.

There's a hand written sentence below the picture and it says.

"One happy family."

Gosh, this is not my business, why am I still here lurking.

"OH MY, AV!" Jungwon screamed.

"I'm sorry, I was tempted by the marvel stickers-" I was cut off because of his reaction.

"You saw already?" He asked.

"Yeah, I'm sorry." I apologise, he smiled.

"It's ok, what Ace have gone through deserves a memory to keep."

Ace is a dog that Jungwon adopted. Ace is not allowed here since his sister, dad, and grandmother who visits them occasionally is very allergic to dogs. But, Ace is too lonely in the dog pound, that he can't eat well since the more big dogs tries to steal his food.

So I decided to bring home Ace.

Ace lived there for more than 5 months.

Ace used to accompany me until I reach the outside of our subdivision.

When I went home froma very tiring school day, I expected him to wait outside the subdivision, since he does that everyday eversince I decided to bring him home. I did not worry that time, yet.
When I've arrived my dad was reading newspaper, and my mom is smoking. My mom looked at me very weirdly. I called Ace a few times and there was no response. I decided to roam around the small subdivision since he can be there somewhere. When I failed and did not see him everywhere, I decided to quickly go home and ask my parents.

I was angry, my feet became wobbly, I felt like jello. They sold him, to a stranger they found. I couldn't contact them since it was quick. It was just from the streets at the town. They did that for money. I quickly realised the money they sold Ace for the beers they are drinking. I screamed at them, and they said it was for our sake since we don't have anything more to eat. She threw his collar at my face, it was painful, but the pain of me loosing Ace overpowers it. His collar, is the only thing that's left.

My Ace.

         I'm sorry, I wasn't there on time.

                                                              My Ace.

                                                                      You deserved better.
