TW: panic attacks and nausea/ throwing up

"You'll call me if you need anything, right?" Travis said as he was backing out of Vic's room, ready to leave and go to work. "I'll come home if I need to."

"Yes, I will, Travis." Vic shook her head and laughed but really she knew he was just looking out for her. "Love you."

"I love you too." He kissed her cheek and gave her a small hug. "Remember, just a phone call away..."

"Just goooo." She insisted and watched him finally leave, giving her an opportunity to think about the pregnancy once again.

After she was told she was pregnant, all she wanted to was shut down completely. In some ways she did, because she hadn't been out for a run since or been to the station since, but in other ways, it was just business as usual for the woman. She acted like she normally would at home so Travis and Emmett wouldn't know something was wrong. Something about telling her best friend would make it that much more real for her, and in all honesty, she didn't it to be any more real that it already was. She already had Carina chasing her up for a proper OB appointment because she left before they could even do a scan. She really was debating blocking her number so she could just ignore it all.

She had never wanted anything else but to forget about the pregnancy. But her brain wouldn't allow that.

And neither would her body, apparently.

She felt a horrendous wave of nausea loom over her and she needed to get to a bathroom quick. And of course her bathroom was still a bombsite, so Travis's bathroom it was. She ran through the house, into his bathroom, just in time to get to the toilet and throw up. She hated doing it normally, but because she knew the exact cause, it was just so much worse. So much for ignoring this forever, she thought.

After she was adamant the nausea had passed at that moment, the only thing that Vic was feeling was overwhelmed, and if she was being honest, on the verge of a panic attack. She needed to not be alone, and she knew exactly who she needed.

She picked herself up off the floor and stumbled back into her bedroom so she could get her phone. Just in case, she went back into the bathroom and sat back down on the floor. She dialled Travis's number so quickly, and in that time, she didn't even really realise she had begun to cry.

A total of one and a half rings was heard on the line before he picked up. "Vic? You okay?"

"No, I uh, I need you to come home." She choked out through her tears. There was a moment of silence. "Please." She asked again.

"I'll be there as soon as I can." He said and then hung up, leaving her to cry some more right there on the cold bathroom floor. She really needed her best friend who wouldn't bat an eye to comfort her. He'd comfort her, no questions asked, but then he'd get worried because she was sick and she never gets sick. And then he'd worry because it could be something to do with her heart, and then he'd want her to go to the ER. He needed answers but Vic wasn't sure if she was going to give them to him.

She was shaken out of her deep thoughts by the desperate yelling of Travis, who had just come back. It was probably only 20 minutes between the phone call and when he arrived back home. "Where are you?" His voice was coming from the other side of the wall. He was obviously in her bedroom.

"In here..." She laboured out, not sure if there was even enough projection through her tears.

He heard, thank god, and he walked into the bathroom and his life practically flashed before his eyes when he saw that Vic had no colour in her cheeks as she was sat propped up against the wall. "Hey, hey," He sat down so fast next to her. "What's wrong? Are you okay? Why are you on the floor?"
