ehm, before i begin. car+boi=cool

okey dokey!

"Huh." Y/n stared at his new house. It looked way better than he had previously anticipated. However, that wasn't on Y/n's mind. His hand was clutching at the letter he had gotten not so long ago.

He put his stuff down (2 big suitcases) and ran out.

"Hello there!" Y/n shouted cheerfully at the receptionist who secretly rolled her eyes. Y/n noticed that.

But again, this wasn't on Y/n's mind. He was very much looking forward to seeing Violet.

He was very much disappointed when he saw that his Doll was not Violet. It wasn't Cattleya, as well, but a woman with yellow eyes and short grey hair. He read the sign next to her.

"Hi, I'm Iris Cannary! I'm your doll for today!" She said, a bit enthusiastically.

"Hello, hello!" He responded cheerfully. He tried to handshake her. Oops, forgot that his one arm doesn't work.

"Uhm, anyhow, back to the topic." Y/n awkwardly continued. "Shall we start?"

___

Violet was panicking. She looked composed but her breathing was hitched and her mind was doing a triple backflip, not to include the fact that there seemed to be a butterfly in her stomach. (An expression she learned from Iris.) Cut that, she had a dog in her stomach.

Of all the timing! Firstly, Y/n house was very far away from the company. It would take her over an hour to get there. Secondly, she had no idea that she would find where y/n moved to. There was no guarantee that he would even be at the company...

And it'd be very, very, very, very bad timing if he were at the company right now.

___

Y/n was very, very, very, very much in the company right now. He could feel the overwhelming presence from the glare he got from the... other dolls.

Somehow it seemed that words spread that he knew one of the best Dolls, because some customers were eyeing him with jealousy evident in their eyes. And Y/n was sweating heavily at the back, the suit he recently bought not helping.

"Ehm, yup, that's it." Y/n suddenly didn't feel like writing more.

"Really? But that's too short, if I could suggest."

"Huh, I think this sums up everything I want to say." Y/n smiled very widely before leaving the place.

___

Violet had looked all around but she did not find where y/n lived. Had he moved out of the whole country?

Shoulders dropped, she went back to the company to finish her stuff. She was interrupted by... Iris, this time?

"Hi, Violet-san." She said coolly. Violet responded back and went on with her stuff. Iris stood there, watching for 5 minutes as the situation unfolded.

"Here." Iris said. But Violet was too busy thinking about where y/n could've been. Iris sneakily put the letter in her bag.

___

Y/n was wondering where to get a job. He still had money, but he needed to think about the future.

"Ugh! L/n!"

"Ye-yes?"

"I don-don-don't have powER!" Hodgin's drunk face coughed after the statement. "Too many works for dolls!"

"Oh, hey..." Y/n smiled.

___

Violet was in her house. Well, her room, to be honest. It was the Evergarden manor. She was taking some stuff out of the bag when she found a letter. Someone must've put it on when she was packing her stuff. She unfolded it with her roboting finger.

It was from Y/n!

Violet smiled rather ruefully. Another misfortune.

Dear Violet,

There was only one sentence written.

Nothing can make me happier than the fact that you are happy.

Her smile wasn't rueful anymore.
