Evening time -
Ritika came in the cabin as Rohit told and saw Virat sitting with his head in his hands.
"Vi u okay"
Ritika asked softly seeing him like that.
"Ya what about u"
Virat said composing himself.
"Anushka is not talking to me. Rohit too not that much"
Ritika said sadly.
"Hmm I understand. It's our fault anyway"
Virat said to which Ritika nodded.
Anushka, Rohit and Mahi Came back from cafe.
They saw both Ritika and Virat were lost in their own world. Rohit and Anushka felt so bad seeing them like that.
Anushka sat beside Ritika but didn't say anything. Ritika looked at her but she didn't budge.
Virat didn't bother about anything now. Rohit closed the door and sat infront of him.
Mahi could see them but not hear them. He could see how much they looked disturbed and tensed. He never thought that Virat and Ritika were suffering this way but they loved Rohit so much to cause this.
"Why did u guys hide from us?"
Rohit asked directly.
"We didn't mean to"
Virat said in a low voice.
"Then why"
Anushka asked this time.
"We were scared and worried"
Ritika said in a low voice.
"About what"
Asked Anushka
"That u will be affected more and now we got used to it"
Virat said voicing out the reason
"U have no idea how much u have hurt us"
Rohit said feeling upset about it
"We know"
Ritika said feeling bad hearing that from Rohit.
"U have to remove this from your mind that we will leave u because of this"
Rohit said trying to remove their insecurities.
"but we are not going forgive u this soon"
Anushka said.
"We understand"
Virat said
Anushka and Ritika left for home after sometime. Rohit told Anushka to take care of her. Rohit was going to leave the cabin too.
"Don't go Ro plz"
Virat pleaded not wanting Rohit to go away from him.
"I need sometime"
Rohit said.
"Can u atleast sit here with me I promise I will not insist u to talk"
Virat said being emotionally tired.
"Please"
Virat added.
"Ok"
Rohit said seeing him.
At the house -
They reached the house and Ritika felt extremely tired with all the happenings.
She sat on the sofa feeling no energy to go upstairs. Anushka brought water for her. She sat beside her. Ritika kept her head on her shoulder.
"Can we go away from all this please ?" Asked Ritika closing her eyes.
"I don't think I can handle it anymore" said Ritika emotionally.
"I know, but I am here Ritz." Anushka said trying to comfort her.
"I don't want to live here. It's all coming back. All the pain and memories" said Ritika crying.
"Shh .. don't cry please .." said Anushka holding her close.
Anushka made her mind to talk to Rohit about this.
Whole day went by Rohit and Virat not talking to each other.
Virat was feeling that emptiness which he was always scared of when he would actually drift Ro away.
"I m on terrace tell me when u are done"
Virat said to get some air.
Virat entered and saw Mahi sitting there with coffee.
"I can go if u want"
Mahi said seeing him there.
"No it's okay I just need some air"
Virat said and sat on the chair.
"All okay ?"
Mahi asked hesitantly.
"Ya"
Virat said.
"U can talk to me if u want .. means if u want someone to listen and not say anything I m here"
Mahi said after sometime seeing Virat lost.
"I don't think I can do it"
Replied Virat.
"Why ?"
Mahi asked in confusion.
"I am used to handle everything on my own. I don't remember how to do it anymore. How to tell people what I am feeling ?"
Virat said.
"Ok"
Mahi said feeling so upset about it because previously his Cheeku used to say every single thing and he used to listen. He used to just blabber and Mahi used to patiently listen to everything. And now everything is changed.
"U can tell me if u want like how u were also affected because I took all the decisions.
Everyone said it without thinking how would I feel about it but it's okay."
Virat said without thinking.
"It's not that .. they just couldn't control themselves once they saw u"
Mahi said.
"Ya right"
Virat said back.
"Guilt is a very heavy emotion .. once u see that person u would just want to try ask his / her forgiveness"
Mahi said trying to make him understand.
"Hmm
What if I never forgive anyone ?"
Asked Virat not knowing why.
"It's completely ur choice .. no one is forcing u"
Mahi said thought it broke his heart and hope hearing that.
"Then why did u all tried it in first place ?
if u would not do that .. it would have messed my head a bit less"
Virat said being so messed up right now.
"If u would not try to ask us anything then I would not get this flashbacks which are constant in my brain .. the never ending nightmares .."
Virat said tiredly holding his head in his hands.
"Sorry"
Mahi said not knowing what to say anymore.
Rohit came there and saw Virat like that. He went to him and sat beside him and took him into a hug.
"Please make it stop." Said Virat vulnerably.
"What Vi ?" Asked Rohit not understanding what he was saying.
"This pain .. make it go away Ro please" said Virat holding him tightly.
Mahi saw him with teary eyes and understood that Virat would never be able to forget this all and forgive them. He got up and left from there.
"Vi calm down please" said Rohit rubbing his arm.
"I give up Ro.. I give up" mumbled Virat crying.
Rohit was shocked to hear that from him.
