ROSE'S POV
No, no, no. This did NOT just happen. I am in utter shock as I feel the familiar squeeze as my mother apparatus us away. I cannot believe he is a Slytherin. A Slytherin! Even a squib would be better! No wait, I take that back. Slytherin is better than a squib. I watch in horror, as mum tells me to go find Merlin. I jump on dad's broomstick and search the world for Merlin. I find him, and realize I'm not certified to park. So I call out to him instead. "Merlin! Hugo turned out to be a Slytherin, and he fainted away! Come quick!" He jumps up, and I turn my broom around. But in no time he is ready, and he flies up to me on his broomstick, and well, from there, things just get weird. So, when we got there, things weren't looking so good. Mum was crying, fresh tears streaming down her face. Dad looked at me and I could see he was trying to hold it in. Aunt Ginny was holding mums hand, telling her she felt the same way when Albus got Slytherin. Uncle Harry is there, and he doesn't seem distressed at all. Of course, given the standards, you would think he'd be the collected one and all. His green eyes pierce my brown ones, and he nods. I run to him, and he hugs me, and says, "I didn't think our family reunion would be over your brother fainting." Grandma Weasley slaps him, and speaks through tears, "You shut your pie hole. It's not even your blood!" I smile. 5 years in America can affect your language, especially if you're 94! Uncle Harry is about to retort, but he sees me and keeps quiet. I see his eyelids flutter, and the next few hours are a blur, as everything falls back into place. Everyone is fine except for Merlin, who's face is chalky white, and who's eyes are blank with fear. Every time he looks at Hugo, he mutters quietly about "being the heir of the Voldemort" and keeps his distance.
He was right. Hugo is being a real jerk, and he keeps trying to freeze me in ice. Meanwhile, as if things couldn't get any worse, Merlin has gone off to find some rare key that will save "Hugo's Fate" I hope he finds it soon. Oh, I hope he does. The new potions teacher, Faith Flan, loves to completely confuse us with her knowledge of wolfsbane, Lethe Water, oh and not to mention Mistletoe berries. Ugh, I just hope I can get home soon. I forgot to wash the dishes. Mum will probably turn me into roadkill once she finds out. I feel alone, and my friend, Ally Idina, who is often bullied for her being a mud blood, switched schools after she got a trumpet stuck to her head. I hope she's alright.
