Ring Around the Rosies

ROSE'S POV
"Ring around the Rosies, a pocket full of posies. Ashes, ashes, we all fall down!" Lily laughs as I pull her down, breathing hard. I smell that vague scent of dewy grass, honeysuckle, and spring. Albus comes out from around the house, making me laugh to see his mop of straight black hair, blowing in the spring breeze. It is cool outside, and after a cold, hard winter, Lily and I couldn't stop ourselves. Hugo, Roxanne, James and Fred went away with Uncle Harry, Aunt Ginny, Mum, Dad, and Aunt Angelica. So it was us, Albus, and Uncle George. I love Uncle George, but sometimes he teases me about my hair. I got red, straight hair, while Hugo got straight brown locks. Ugh. Life is just not fair. But Lily is like a bright spot in a haze of darkness, always by me no matter what. I love her to death, and it pains me to know she will no longer stay home. She got Gryffindor, and I had welcomed her in with a big hug. James, Zayn, and Ralph gave me nonstop trouble, as I hated untidy things, dirty things, or just plain messy things. I sigh, and with a pat on the head, Lily and I go and get ourselves some lemonade. Albus trails behind, complaining about general things in life, like how professor Snape's portrait got all dusty, or the "hard" divination test our teacher gave us.
MERLIN'S POV
I can't help but sigh. Looking at her, you'd have no idea what that girl is capable of. She looks pretty, but her fiery red locks just symbolize the fiery temper that rages through her blood. She looks harmless enough, but I hope that will be enough to fool her. The woman I know will want to kill her. Steal her brother's magic. The key will let her do that. But I will get it back before that happens. Before she gets to him. Before all is lost. I've made up my mind and I won't turn back now. Helena Bridgecast will NOT be getting her hands on that key.
