(Y/N) POV
It was getting pretty late and Ralph told everyone to pick up sticks to build a fire. I quickly obliged and scouted for any sticks that may have fallen off from getting the fruit. I found a few big ones just beside a bush. Right as I was picking them up a hand took them away.
"Excuse you!" I hollered at the thief. He turned around and it was that creepy kid from the plane.
"What's you're problem!" I yelled at him. Who takes someone's sticks?
He walks up to me with his hands filled with the sticks that I FOUND! "You aren't needed for any of this. Hell, you're is about useful as that fat kid. Just stay out of my way and we'll get along splendid. Got it?" He said with a smug look on his face.
"I don't even know you." I said trying to be intimidating, but failing miserably. He was about a head taller than me.
"Rodger. Don't worry if you think you won't remember it. I'll make sure you'll remember my name." He nudged me with his shoulder and walked toward the group. If he thinks that he can just take away my shit and get away with it. Oh, he has another thing coming.
I luckily found not that big, but just about the right size of sticks, so I wouldn't be able to be in the group empty handed. I walked towards the group and they seemed to be talking about military training they had at their school.
"Is everyone here?" Ralph called out. I looked around to see everyone that I remembered is here. All the others nodded their heads, so we were ready to go.
"Jack, lead the way." Jack had a huge grin and started walking proudly with his big stick. That boy maybe cute, but he sure got a big ego.
We all trudged up a huge hill singing a song, I guess they learned it at school. The boys repeated the words Jack sang. Not gonna lie it was actually fun to sing it. Jack is also not that bad of a singer. I talked to this kid name, Rapper. He seems pretty nice, not like Rodger the asshole over here. The boys and I laid our sticks in a pile by a tree. Jack found two rocks and tried to start a fire with them. After a couple of tries, there was nothing.
"Come on, let me try." Ralph complained.
"I got it, I got it." Jack kept doing the same thing. Still no results, but Jack getting mad.
"Shit! Damn! Mother-"
"Swearing won't help." Piggy said. Jack got angry and started to push Piggy. I had the littluns with me, so that they wouldn't get scared.
"Listen, Piggy! Shut your fat ass!" Before anything could get even more heated, Ralph stepped in.
"Hold it! Hold it! Hey, wait a minute. Piggy, give me your glasses." Ralph took Piggy's glasses without warning.
"Hey! Give 'em back." Piggy tried to get his glasses back, but with no prevail.
"Trust me." Ralph bend down to the pile of sticks. After a couple of seconds of silence steam started to show up.
"Fire!" Rapper cheered. The boys started to cheer and jump on one another. What we didn't know was that the fire was spreading.
"Jesus! It's spreading!" Jack called out. We started to freak out. I grabbed the littluns to make sure they didn't get hurt. Jack, Ralph, and the rest of the older boys started to stomp on the grass. Someone thought it would be a good idea to fan the fire with their jackets.
"DON'T FAN IT! IT WILL JUST SPREAD MORE!" It was too late, the fire already caught on to the tree. I mentally faced palmed at their idiotic idea. Eventually, they stopped the fire in time before it spread everywhere on the island.
