(Y/N) POV
It was light outside and that only meant one thing, Jack went out to hunt again. I saw no one there when I woke up, so I started to walk over to the beach. While, I was walking I saw Simon...he was crying. I rushed over to him, wondering what was wrong.
"Simon, are you okay?" His eyes were red and puffy. He showed me his lizard, it had a wound in it. I picked it up and started to shake it to see if it would would move. Nothing. It was dead.
"What happened to him?" I asked. He hanged his head low, not wanting to be seen. This wound couldn't have been from an animal it had to be from a person.
"Simon, who did this?" I asked. He whispered so quietly, "Rodger." That creep! He's going to pay. But first, Simon needs someone right now.
"We can build a little grave for him or we can build him a little boat for him to sail off." I suggested. He nodded. We started to get to work on the boat. I grabbed sticks and he grabbed string to tie it. When we finished, we sat the lizard on it and pushed it off. Simon gave it a little wave to him one last time. He cried onto me. I comforted him til he was all better.
"Thank you, (Y/N)." I just patted his head and walked him to where everyone else was. We didn't get very far, until we heard Simon's name being called out. We ran towards the voice to see Captain Benson was out. Poor man was so confused, had no idea what was going on.
"You should really keep an eye on him. I almost stabbed him." Jack said. I rolled my eyes knowing he wouldn't kill anyone.
"Where were you anyways? You just disappeared when Rodger practiced on your lizard." Jack said. Is that what they are calling murder now? Simon kept quiet and just bowed his head low.
"Are you mute or something? Answer me." Jack pushed Simon. Hard enough to hit the ground. I'm going to kick his ass!
"Leave him alone, okay! He's dealing with a lot right now!" I defended Simon, helping him up. Jack didn't seemed phased by me.
"Like, what? He doesn't talk to anyone besides you and Ralph. He's just a weirdo!" Weirdo. That was the word that made me go to that "well-behaved," school and the plane that crashed.
"Don't you ever say that to Simon!" My voice filled with hatred. I didn't want Simon to feel what I felt when someone called me that every. Single. Day! Jack paused at my little outburst. He probably thought I was going crazy. Good, I don't care what he thought thinks. Nobody hurts my friend.
"Well, whatever you want princess." He mockingly bowed to me as the rest followed. I took a deep breath and let it roll off my back. I rolled my eyes at their immature attempts to be funny. I saw Rodger and remembered that Simon said it was Rodger who killed his lizard. I walked over to Rodger with anger in each of my steps and pushed him on a rock. His head hit the rock, not bad enough to kill him. But just enough to give him some bruises.
"What the hell, you bitch!" Rodger nose was bleeding. I never meant to hurt him, but he deserves it.
"I maybe a girl, but I can still kick your ass. Also, don't ever mess with Simon ever again, unless you want to be like that last girl I fought." I warned them, helping Simon get Captain Benson back to his spot.
"Oh~ we're so scared." Jack taunted, but I didn't give him the slightest attention. I've been on this island for a while and I noticed that Jack likes the attention. He always wants the attention, but when he doesn't he tries everything to get it. So, let's see how he feels when I don't talk to him at all.
Time Skip
It was night fall and Simon per usual was keeping charge of the pilot. He was all alone and for some reason he liked that way. I mean I could relate, I used hate the attention, but after the plane crash I sorta grown on to it.
