Candy's POV
-------------------
"We will be descending into London in a few minutes, we hope you enjoyed you flight and will be glad to see you in the near future." A voice said from the intercom.
15 hours on the air.
When you say it aloud it sounds like a mad person talking but it's true.
Why am I traveling to London?
To live with my uncle; Simon Cowell.
Yes, that Simon Cowell; the billionaire.
He's was my mum's brother. They were so close. We used to always video chat with him on Skype and call each other everyday but as the years went by we lost contact.
But after the incident, all I could think about was him...
(Flash Back)
"Are you excited about going to the carnival with your parents tonight!" My best-friend; Paisley asked me as she sat down in the lounger in our sitting room.
We had been living with each other since my Mum got married again and moved to his house. I didn't have a problem with it, but neither did my Mum.
"You mean going to the carnival with my Mum!" I answered back turning on the TV.
"Same thing." She muttered even though she knew I could hear her clearly.
"Put the news on. I want to see what other boring things are happening in our small town of Redwood." Paisley said taking a handful of popcorn.
"Okay." I replied and switched the channel.
"Just in! A massive car crash in the central city of Redwood, California. Jill Mason on the scene." A reported said making me flinch.
"Nothing ever happens in Redwood! What if people die!" Paisley yelled having a mini- spas attack.
"I doubt anything could have happened to the people we know." I reassured her with an pinch of insecurity.
"Hondreds of people are injured because of the crash and around 50 people dead." The woman on the television said making my eyes expand and goose bumps tickle my skin.
And just that second the phone rang.
"I'll get it." I stammered getting up and walking over to the phone.
"Hello." I said bringing the house phone to my ears.
"Is this Candy Hutcherson?" A manly voice said over a loud crowd of screaming and crying.
"Yes." I answered back, my mind thinking of the positive things this call could have.
"Your mother, Rose Whitely, was in the car crash with you step-father; Jason Whitley."
Then my world stopped.
Everything was black.

"How long has she been out for?" A familiar female voice asked above my head.
"5 hours. But she seems to be waking up." A voice answered as my right eye slowly opened.
"Where am I?" I asked the air as my eyes scanned the room. Wherever I was, it wasn't my apartment.
"Your at the hospital. The police man was talking to you on the phone and then you fainted."
And then the memory came back.
Car crash.
Mum.
Jason.
"Where is she!" I asked harshly sitting upright on the hospital bed.
"Your mother is in the 5th room down the hall. Should we take you their?" Paisley asked me.
I nodded and she helped me out of bed.
"Paisley, before we get in there. Be honest with me. Is my Mother dead?" I asked her with my voice cracking.
"I don't know." She answered back opening the door.
"Hello, dear, are you the daughter of Rosé Whitley and Jason Whitely?" A male nurse asked me as I nodded my head silently.
"Can I see her?" I asked grasping onto Paisley's arms for dear life.
"Yes. Here she is." The nurse said, leading us to my mum.
"I'll hand you over to Doctor Brown for the analysis." He told us then walked away.
My mum was as pale as snow laid in the hospital bed, in my head all I could do was pray that she would be OK.
"Hello, I'm the doctor." A man with a surgeon uniform said.
"I'm the daughter." I said with a forced smile.
"We'll I have good news and and bad news."
"We'll hear the bad news first."'I answered with a tear coming to my eyes...
