"Feast of the Monster"

Rumi POV: 

After the chaotic opening ceremony that happened earlier, we were all escorted to our dormitory. When we entered we were met by a beautiful living room. 

We were all wowed by the sight when a robot once again popped out of the center table of the living room. 

"Welcome to your dormitory. These are your assigned rooms." It then showed us a map of the dormitory with our emblems in place to indicate where we sleep. 

The evening went by fast, we slept and woke up for breakfast and all sat in the living room just doing whatever, well I am playing with my webs. 

Just then the voice said. "Attention Running Man contestants, please report to the game stage." We all looked up startled by the voice. "You have five minutes before the game begins."

I internally panicked and frantically went outside and hopped on the R board along with it preparing my watch and locking my ring to my emblem. 

I was expecting to float like usual but instead, it lead down at a swift speed, I screamed in surprise, and it then stopped a bit before continuing to go at lightning speed, I continued to scream but stopped once I was in a room. 

The platform I rode slowed down descending to the ground. luckily my tribe has a special skill for these moments, and that is balance. but I took deep breaths, that fall scared the living shit out of me. 

"Stage docking complete." The voice said. 

I got off my platform and noticed the room was very dark. "Strange." I said to myself. 

I turned around as my eyes widen to see a statue, a statue that looked like the second leader of the Arachne tribe...Albi.

"This game will take place inside the Hall of War Heroes, commemorating the heroes who fought in the War of Materion. Please assemble at the central hall." The voice said but I ignored it.

I was too focused on the statue of my tribe, looking at it suspiciously. 'Our tribe never joined the Materion War so how did a statue of the 2nd leader get here?' I asked myself internally.

"Rumi please assemble at the central hall along with the others, the game is about to begin." I jumped a bit startled by the voice but soon complied. 

I took one last look at the statue before I headed my way to the central hall, when I arrived the others were already there just waiting for me. I stood beside Kuga and Gai and crossed my arms, a hologram then appeared revealing Charming Gold.

"Nice to meet you, Running Man contestants. There's been a small incident at yesterday's opening ceremony." He joked and I think he was referring to a certain tiger and giraffe.

"Don't worry, Don't worry. I decided to use my authorities and not take any disciplinary action. However, if this kind of incident happens again, the disciplinary board will assemble. And the contestant in question and their tribe will be permanently expelled. Keep that in mind." He stated in a warning tone and with a serious expression. 

All of us gave a firm nod of confirmation taking in what he said as Charming Gold did a whole 180 flip. "Now, the first stage will begin at last!" He did a pose and the hologram disappeared. 

The robot projecting him activating and turning to Lonky. "Mr. Lonkey."

"Yes?" Lonkey replied. 

"As the winner of the opening game, there's something you must do." The robot explained as Lonkey looked at the robot in confusion while I looked with curiosity and confusion. 

"Determine the order of the eight players." The robot continued, Lonkey then beamed excitingly. "What game is it?" 

"I cannot tell you that." The robot stated as Lonkey began to deflate. "What?"
