"Battle of Superpowers, Part 1"

3rd POV:

Pala was happy that he finally won something as all cameras are on him, but the cameras soon rode off and pointed at Charming Gold. 

"Ladies and Gentlemen, in the last game Pala won despite nearly anybody's expectation. Will this game also end in an exciting twist? We'll find out as we begin round two, right now!" Doing a dramatic pose, the ground began to rise up creating a game stage. 

At each end, the other players began to appear along with them standing in front of their tribe statues. 

Rumi POV:

A hologram appeared in front of me with a symbol of an eye that has a big cross over it. I tilted my head confused by the symbol and pressed it.

"An item will be given to all the Running Man Contestants. Pala the winner of the mini-game, will receive another special item." The panel explained. 

The symbol then appeared on my watch, I now wonder what this game will be called. 

Alt 332 then appeared and did the usual. "All right! This game is called The Battle of Superpowers!"

Illustration appears. "This is the Super Power Ring, which all of you received just now. Once you place this ring on your watch, you'll each be able to use a type of superpower. The energy of the ring will drop when you use your power. Once you run out of energy as seen on your watch, you'll no longer be able to use your superpower. You will not know the type of superpower each member has. Only one member who protects his or her shield to the end in this Battle of Superpowers will be the winner of this game."

Charming Gold proceeded to do a pose. "It's...Running Time!" 

A giant shield began to surround the stage as the game now begins.

I pressed my watch and read what my superpower is and found out it is invisibility. 

Now all I need to do is protect my shield to the very end, so I think it's best if I hide for a bit before doing anything.

While I was trying to find a perfect spot to hide, I somehow saw Kuga going in the other direction and decided to follow him while activating my superpower of course. 

When I did, he and Miyo are on the ground about to fight when Lonkey appeared, unfortunately. "Look at this. Did you two get together to help us do less work?" 

"What? Don't you think you're overly confident?" Miyo questioned which I absolutely agree with. 

"Do you really think so?" Out of nowhere Pala and Popo appeared behind Lonkey. 

'Don't tell me those two fell for Lonkey's lies.' I facepalmed internally.

The trio leaped down to where Kuga and Miyo are and slowly walked up to them.

Just then Kuga activated his superpower, raising his fist, punching it where the trio are, fortunately for them Kuga missed. His huge pawprint symbol is on the wall.

The trio was stunned as they shakily turned around and screamed in fright when they saw the huge paw print. I on the other hand had my eyes wide with my mouth agape. 

For a moment it was silent but Lonkey broke that silence when he laughed. "If that's what you're going to do, then we'll show our secret weapon too." 

The two seemed a bit confused as they looked at Lonkey. "We've got our ultimate secret weapon, show'em Pala!" Putting an arm around Pala.

"I don't know why I was even surprised." I deadpanned, muttering under my breath. 

Popo seemed to catch on to what Lonkey is doing and went along with it as he began to also laugh. "So Pala is finally stepping up. You better be ready to face this."
