Nomia continues to hold your hand as they run test to make sure they can preform the surgery.
Eventually the blood slows down and they decide to put the surgery a side and keep an eye on you.
Nomia:Are you hungry?I can get you something from the cafeteria or I can pick something up!

Nomia:Ok well that's fine but you need to eat later at least!

Nomia sits on the side of your bed still holding your hand with the brightest smile.

Nomia:Id rather have 1 good friend than 3 bad ones.
You guys sit there bonding like no one could get between you both.You get to know Nomia a lot better than you thought you would've.She makes you really happy.Even if she was bad in the past she's changed now.People make mistakes and it's ok.Sometimes you need to forgive and forget.Or just forgive you don't always need to forget.It's good to.
You slowly fall asleep as she holds your hand in hers.About 15-20 minutes later Nomia thinks you fell asleep already.
Nomia:I'm so thankful your alive Brooke.
She kisses your forehead and slowly takes her hand back.
Soon after you hear your door open.Curious you open your eyes and see a nurse.
Nurse:Hello,sorry if I disturbed your sleep!Just checking on your levels really quick and seeing how your doing.
You:It's ok.You didn't disturb me.
Nurse:I'm glad.Ok I'm going to quickly check your heartbeat and oxygen levels.Maybe a couple more depending on how the first two go.
The nurse quickly checks your levels.
Nurse:Ok so they are almost back to normal.I'm going to have to take your sugar,ok?
You:I'm not good with needles.
Nomia:Here.
Nomia walks over to the left side of you and holds your hand.
Nomia:It's ok Brooke.(: Pay attention to me and we can count the tiles on the floor.How about that?
You start to tear up.

You:That's how my mom comforted me when I was little...

Nurse:Ok your done!Maybe eat a cup of jello or drink some soda to help your levels a bit and you should be set for 2 days here.
You:It's already over?
Nurse:Yup I did it when you were distracted.
You:That was quick.Ok I'll eat or drink something.
Nurse:I'll see you in about 1 to 2 hours.Another nurse might peek in here so a second but that's really it.Good bye Brooklyn!

Nomia:You did great!
You giggle a bit and smile at her.She smiles back.
You:Thank you Nomia I really mean it.
Nomia:Forever?
You:Forever.
She hugs to tight around the waist to not hurt your shoulder.You want to tell her you know she kissed your forehead.But scared she might not do it again.You kinda liked it.
Nurse:Sorry!I forgot to tell you your dad and brother should visit tomorrow around 3 or 3:30 so if you need anything hit the button.
You:Ok thank you!
Nurse:Yup no problem!
Nomia:We should go to bed soon.
You:Soon you mean now?
