Getting the help I need.

Around 6 in the morning you wake up.It's dark and peaceful.You look over and Nomia is asleep in the spare bed.You sit you're bed up and turn the tv.Making sure it's not to loud you turn down the volume.You hit the button and call for a nurse.A few minutes later a nurse arrives in your room.
Nurse:Do you need something Brooklyn?
You:I was wondering if I was aloud to get up myself.
Nurse:Yes and no.So a nurse has to be in your room if you get up.
You:Ok,so is it ok it I change really quick?
Nurse:Absolutely!Go ahead I'll wait for you to finish.
You:Ok,thank you!
Nurse:Anytime!
You get up and walk to the bathroom and change clothes for when your dad and brother get here.You attempt to brush your hair and teeth.
You:Mh,should I straighten it or curl it?Im going to straighten it.
You take about 10 minutes to straighten your hair before walking out of the bathroom.You feel amazing with your self.Your taking care of yourself,and have motivation to do it.
Nurse:Beautiful!Ok anything else before I leave?
You:Um no I think that's all! Thank you again!
Nurse:No worries and thank you!
She leaves your room after saying that.
Nomia:Yawns* Oh your already awake?Woah....
Nomia:God she beautiful...💭
(💭 means their thinking or speaking in their head)
You:Yeah,I decided I wanted to get ready for once.
Nomia:I-I-yup.
You giggle at her speechless self.
Nomia:Why are you giggling at me!
Eventually your both giggle while struggling to breathe.
A few hours pass and it's around 1:30 pm.
You getting a bit hungry.
Nomia:Are you getting hungry for something yet?
You:I was just about to ask you.
Nomia:Well what do you want to eat?
You:Uh,ofc you'd ask me that.
Nomia:That's the whole point.
You:Whatever!Blah blah blah!I suppose I'll take a cup of jello and mashed potatoes.
Nomia:Ok Miss sassy!What about a drink?
You:Water.
Nomia:Ok I'll be back!
You:Thank you Nomia!
Nomia:Your welcome Brooke.
She leaves to head off to the cafeteria.You search the tv seeing if it has Disney or Netflix.It ended up having both.You really want to watch stranger things so you watch a part of an episode.You don't get far into it when Nomia arrives back with the food.
Nomia:I'm back!
You:I see that.
Nomia sets down the food and pulls out a table for your food.She sets the food in front of you and napkins,forks,spoons,knifes,and your water.Basically anything you would ever need that the hospital supplies.Nomia does the same for herself and watch's stranger things while you both eat together.
You:Aw I love that part!Its my favorite!
Nomia:Really?Its my favorite part too!
You both smile at each other and finish up eating your food.Nomia cleans up your plate and everything for you.She also does the same for herself.You never knew how caring and helpful she could be.
You:Why are you doing this for me?
Nomia:Um,well.My friend did the same thing you did but I wasn't given a chance to do anything.Sadly because the bullet didn't miss her.
You:I need to stop asking questions.I'm really sorry for your loss Nomia.
Nomia:No it's fine!No need to be sorry Brooke!
Are you excited that your brother and father are visiting you today?
You:For my brother yes.
Nomia:Why not your father?If you don't mind me asking ofc!
You:No it's fine!He's been really abusive towards me ever since my mom past away.
Nomia:What?.....Why did you tell someone about this Brooke?
You:I did.
Nomia:Who,it better not be me.
You:I told a cop.but I had no evidence of it.So they couldn't do anything.
Nomia:Do you have cuts or bruises?
You:Yes.
Nomia:That's proof,I'm going to get you the help you need.
You:No!Ill have no where to stay after.
Nomia:Yes you do.
You:Where is that?
Nomia:A place.
