Chapter 2

Jade's POV

I walked into school alone. I can't stop thinking about the conversation I had with Tori last night. "Morning, Cat," I said to my friend, Cat. Andre walked in with Trina. "Hey, thanks for helping me write that song. Trina's been singing it all weekend." I said. Today is the day that Trina gets to perform it. I'm playing the piano. My ex-boyfriend, Taylor, taught me how to play. I broke up with him because we were always fighting. I hope Tori comes to the big showcase because I want to see her again. I think we are starting to become good friends.

Tori's POV

I walked into school this morning and went straight to class. My mom beat me last night and I have a black eye. I put makeup on to cover my bruises and scars. Jade now knows about what mom and Trina do to me. She promised not to tell anyone which I'm happy about. In my maths classroom, there's a massive drinks machine. Our teacher lets us help ourselves to any drink we want. I miss my dad so much. I wish my dad was still around. One year, my dad threw Trina a birth week party. (Long story) so basically I wrote her a song and she was so ungrateful she asked me where her present was. My dad told her that she shouldn't be so ungrateful and that she should appreciate that I wrote her a song for her birthday. I miss him. Trina can be very rude to people at times. Mom loves her more than she loves me. She seems to think that Trina is going to go far in life. Mom said that I'm not going to go far. Mom thinks that I'll end up working in a thrift store and that Trina will be a famous singer. If she wants to be famous, she needs some talent. Mom seems to think she's talented but everyone else disagrees. I wish my mom and sister would be nicer to me but that's not going to happen anytime soon.

Beck's POV

Being a famous actor is probably one of the most rewarding things. I love to make people happy by starring in movies. It definitely makes me happy to see my fans happy.
