Chapter 23

Alyssa's POV

I'm so bored. Beck said that Jade refused to admit that she threatened me and that Jade thinks that I'm trying to ruin his relationship with Tori. Dad thought it would be nice for me to bond with Holly's children whilst he and Holly are out. Actually, this is perfect. I can get to know Tori more. "Honey, we need to go to the Vega's!" Dad yelled. "Coming!" I yelled back. I ran down the stairs and we headed to the Vega's house. We got to the Vega's house and Dad knocked on the door. "Roger, hey." Mrs Vega said happily and kissed Dad's cheek. "Hey sweetie, this is my daughter, Alyssa." Dad said. I shook Mrs Vega's hand. Tori came down. "Who's this?" An older girl asked. "That's Mom's date and his daughter." Tori explained. "No one asked you!" The older girl yelled and stormed off. "Hi, mr Vaughn, I'm Tori." Tori said. "Please, call me roger. Oh, congratulations on the pregnancy." Dad said. Oh no. Beck told me that Tori didn't want her mom knowing. Tori looked sad. "Uh, did I say something wrong?" Dad asked. "N-no." Tori said. Luckily, Mrs Vega didn't hear. "What pregnancy?!" Mrs Vega asked. Uh oh. She did hear. "Tori's pregnant. Alyssa told me all about it. She must be excited." Dad said. "Y-yeah." Tori said sarcastically. "I can always help you and young Beck out." Dad said. "We should be okay." Tori said. Dad went out to the car. Beck mentioned that Tori's mom can be abusive towards her. I hope that doesn't happen. "I've got some stuff for us to do." I said. "You're pregnant?!" Mrs Vega screamed. "Please don't shout. It won't do the baby any good." I said. "You stupid bitch!" Mrs Vega yelled. "Mom, I'm sorry! I didn't plan for it to happen!" Tori screamed. "You are so irresponsible!" Mrs Vega screamed. "Why don't you have a biscuit?" I suggested. This Is so scary. I went up to Tori's room. I'm so nervous, I hope nothing bad happens.

Beck's POV

I got a phone call from Alyssa. "Hello?" I said. "Help! My dad is going on a date with Tori's mom. He accidentally let it slip to Tori's mom about Tori's pregnancy and Tori's mom is about to hit Tori." Alyssa said. I picked up my coat and left my RV. "I'm on my way." I said and got in my car. I rushed to Tori's. I hope she's not In any danger. I heard a scream. I found the spare key under the plant pot and opened the door. "Beck!" Tori cried and ran into my arms. "Shh, it's ok, baby." I said and kissed her hair. "She's so mad!" Tori cried. She sobbed and sobbed and I just hugged her. "It's ok, it's alright. You're going to be fine." I said and kissed her forehead. I do hope that Mrs Vega doesn't come into the living room. Just before I arrived, she went to her study because i heard the click of her high heels going up the stairs. I hope Tori is going to be safe.
