Today me and Chris were going to go to the mall our relationship has been public for about 2 weeks now and to be honest it's getting so much better I'm sort of getting used to it besides the paparazzi that still creeps me out a bit, I was driving because the lazy ass didn't want to drive and he's my baby so I had to right? We were driving in silence for most of the drive but but all of a sudden we hear our song on the radio we looked at each other I turned the volume up, we started laughing until the lyrics came on

We started laughing historically at house cheesy we were being it was cute tho this is basically our song EVERYTIME it's on we have to sing it it's just a rule with us it's the first song we listened to when we first got "together"
We got to the mall and I was feeling much better after the singing sesh we just had, like my mood just went up 100% and when I tell you it's a good feeling you better believe me because it's true. We found a parking spot and went into the mall, we first went into a game shop that chris seems to be really interested in so he bought anything that he wanted because I make my own money I can spoil him too he spoils me enough, we had a whole argument on the way out of the little shop about why I paid, it's simple I love him. We went to a few other shops we got a few things from each store so we had our hands full and decided we can come back tomorrow if we forget anything.
We put the bags in the car and got in, we weren't in an hurry so we went to a random McDonald's drive thru that we saw while on our way home, yes I call his house home because I basically live there I have my own apartment tho I share with my friend Anna, Chris doesn't like being away from his siblings too much so we just stay at his house most of the time he'll sleep over at my house sometimes if I just want to go to my apartment or if I miss Anna but other then that we'll most likely be at his house it's fine by me I like his house more anyways, it's way more home-ier? It feels more like home at his house then my plain 2 bedroom apartment. I moved out as soon as I turned 18 so it hasn't been that long since I've seen my mom
I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with lettuce and a Oreo McFlurry weird combination but I like it Chris got his usual chicken nuggets and a medium size Pepsi, he should really learn his lesson and order a large because he knows he's gonna be "sharing" his soda with me, we went into a empty parking lot and turned the engine off we sat in a comfortable silence just eating and scrolling through our phones I don't mind this it's peaceful it feels good to know that we can do this and let it not be awkward. Today was on my top ten list of the best days of our relationship, it's been so long since we've just shopped and went to eat we've been staying in recently so we couldn't go on 'dates' even most of our dates has been like this or the movies, I love that Chris knows I don't like dates in fancy restaurants because why would we spend loads of money on bad food when we can spend time together and cook and talk and have fun? I'd much rather stay in with Chris then go out and party.

Chris: mhm? He said biting into his last nugget
Y/n: I love you
Chris: I love you too he said putting his drink down and leaning over to kiss me
Y/n: don't say too I say before he can touch my lips
Chris: mkay He giggled
we kissed for a few more minutes and decided to finish eating then go home and we did just that we cuddled all night and fell asleep
