Chapter 1
Delilah's POV
As I hear the intro of A Love Like War blasting through my phone speakers, I wake up and clicked snooze. Five more minutes, I thought to myself. 6:00 AM it was, I was waking up at 6 AM to try to meet a band a god damn BAND. The things I do for these boys I swear. Anyway, as I was about to use the remaining 5 minutes I had for sleep, my cellphone starts ringing. I groan and pulled my blanket over my head. The ringing stopped, but after about 10 seconds, it started again. I finally decided to get up and answer my phone.
"Hello?" I said in a grumpy voice.
"Delilah? Are you ready?" My friend Lilly asks
"I kinda just woke up." I answered.
"What! Delilah, i'm gonna be there in 5 minutes! you better be ready when i'm there!" She tells me and putts down the phone.
I sigh and start getting ready. I have a quick shower and dress up. While doing so, I hear Lilly's car park in the driveway. Eh, she can wait 5 more minutes, I thought. I apply light eye shadow to make my boring brown eyes actually look interesting. I quickly apply lip gloss and rush outside to meet Lilly.
So basically the reason why we woke up at 6 AM, like i said before, was because we were going to meet the band 5 Seconds of Summer (well we're going to try). There were rumors going around that their flight going to LA would land at around 11:45 AM so Lilly and I decided that we would wait at the airport for their arrival and hopefully meet them.
When I get outside, I see Lilly leaning on her car, waiting for me, like usual.
"You're late" She says in a monotone voice, trying to look at me with a serious face.
"Stop trying to pretend like you're mad at me and get in the damn car so we can meet those dorks." I say laughing. Lilly starts laughing as well and goes over to the drivers seat and starts the car. Once we were moving, I started playing the 5SOS playlist we had and sang along on the top of our voices. I'm not sure if you would even call it singing anymore, we were more of shouting the lyrics out of excitement because of that small chance that we might meet them. I started thinking, What if we do meet them? I was internally freaking out but I really didn't want to get my hopes up, in case we didn't.
We got to the airport at around 8:25 AM and we saw about 10 girls already waiting for them. Lilly joined them and started making conversation.
"Hey I still haven't eaten breakfast so i'm gonna grab something from the cafe. Do you want anything?" I ask Lilly. She nodded and said she didn't want anything because she might get sick out of nervousness. I laughed and nodded.
After some coffee, a bagel and 3 and a half hours later, everyone started lining up because the airport security told us that they might meet fans if no one mobbed them. Lilly and I were in the middle of the line and I was shaking so bad. I was so nervous I didn't know what to say if they came up to us. Suddenly, snapping me out of my deep thinking, some girls at the front started shouting.
"Holy Shit" I muttered. There they were. They were actually here. Oh god I feel like i'm gonna faint. I turn to check on Lilly and we both have the same expression of pure shock. I turn back around to face the front and I see that only Luke and Ashton were meeting fans while Calum and Michael headed to their car. Ashton was first to come near us.
"Hey!" He greeted us with his adorable smile. I snapped out of my shocked expression and nervously greeted him back.
"Hi Ashton wow uhm can i get a hug?" I asked and he giggled and enveloped me in one of the best hugs i've had. No joke. He quickly took a selfie with me and left since he had to meet other fans too. Next was Luke, like Ashton, I asked for a hug.
"So uhm why didn't Michael and Calum meet fans?" Lilly who was at my back, asked him.
"Oh they didn't feel that good! They'll surely meet you guys next time tho!" He said with a small smile
"Tell them to get well soon!" I say. He looks at me and we make eye contact for like 5 seconds, but we both snapped out of it and I asked him for a selfie which he gladly took with me.
"I hope we meet again." Luke says hugging me for the last time before moving on to meet more fans.
Luke's POV
I HOPE WE MEET AGAIN?! WAS THAT THE BEST WAY TO SAY GOOD BYE REALLY LUKE? I think to my self. But I guess I couldn't help it. She was kinda cute, whatever her name was. I brush it off and move to meet the next fan.
"Hey!"
Delilah's POV
After most people left the airport me and Lilly we're sitting down in shock.
"Holy shit, did that really happen?" I ask her and she just nodded, still lost for words.
I was kinda dissapointed that both Calum and Michael didn't meet fans since I was a huge Michael girl. But still, we just met LASHTON I was beyond thankful. Suddenly, Lilly finally spoke.
"We have to find them again!" She almost yells at me.
