My new clothing was simple enough; a muddy brown winter hat with safety goggles that had green lenses, a black long sleeved turtle-neck shirt with pads on the shoulders and elbows, matching slightly baggy jeans that had many pockets for tools of sorts, work gloves, and plain work boots. A tool belt even hung on my left hip similar to Scarlet's sewing kit.

Speaking of, the seamstress herself stood before me admiring her work on my small figure. She kept circling me and stopping to some side then continuing only to stop on a different side in a repeated manner. "Just perfect..." She muttered continuously. Rapid footsteps came down the stairs as a girl came in.

"There's a stranger here!!" The little girl shrieked scared. I exchanged looks with Scarlet before dashing past the child up the steps and through the chaos upstairs out of the shop. Unlike in the shop no one outside was too concerned at least no one looked concerned, but everyone was whispering to each other. I could vaguely hear a few conversations; "Stranger..." "From upstairs..." "Mask.." "Red hat..." "Looking..."

I followed where the whisperings became more frequent until finally I heard the most well known voice in my life.

"Excuse me, I'm looking for a.... A friend that may be somewhere down here." A gruff voice asked someone nearby.

I looked in the direction, my suspicions being confirmed. "Kevin." I stated looking at the back of the former bully. Upon hearing me, the man turned to face me, our eyes locking instantly.

"Ah, there you are Edd." He nodded curtly, to my surprise not attempting to kill me for not returning to the Facility as I had promised. "Let's find a place to talk, what'd ya say?" Kevin suggested nodding down an alleyway.

"I suppose." I answered quietly. The sheriff headed down the alley with me close behind. We didn't stop walking until we were in the sewer drain leading back the way out.

Only then did he react. Kevin planted a strong punch at the wall behind me, I didn't flinch. "Dumbass," The orange haired man started. "At least contact me if you're going somewhere else."

"I would have Kevin but my communicator was in my coat which I had lost." I explained slowly becoming irritated for some unknown reason.

Kevin held up a white bit of fabric I recognized, "I noticed, could've said something before ditching it."

I sighed, "If I could have helped it I would have. But at that moment I was not....me." Kevin's green orbs narrowed in confusion. "It's difficult to explain but long story short; I am a half talent and I have a split personality."
Kevin was silent for while, his brow knitted together still confused just not about the present situation.

"You can be one scary dork, ya know." He spoke finally backing up. "Just be careful, alright?"

I nodded firmly, "Of course."
