Biography: Max was exposed to the G-Energy Compound on international television by his own uncle, Dr. Ivan Stewart aka Gold Vulture. Although Superman was able to stop Gold Vulture. from stealing the G-Energy Compound, it was too late to save Max as the chemical gets absorbed into his body, but he survived the exposure. Unfortunately for him, there was no cure for Max as the effects are permitted as he gain biomorphing powers and superhuman abilities. At some point when he was 9, Max decides to use his powers for good and became Monster Kid.
Max has encountered other heroes several times.
