But all in all, what can I really do? I have no idea where these people are-or even who's behind this. I have some suspicions, maybe that bitch of a teacher got out and came over to try to kill me, but ultimately couldn't, saw the bodies and then fired two shots knowing that if they were discovered that they could ruin my life. Or maybe it was some other douchebag that has held a grudge against me for years and after finally getting a chance, used it to the best of his fucking abilities. Or, maybe it has something to do with that group those two were talking about, of course assuming that they weren't making up that entire thing to distract me.

Well, the best thing we can do now is just pick a direction and walk, hopefully finding some answers as I go, I guess I'm on my own. With that being said, I should prepare a few things first, one if I'm going to be meeting up with this person I think we can best assume that they're not going to be unarmed, and if it does have anything to do with that group those two were talking about then we better prepare for the worst, that being a bunch of people who sold half their souls because they can't get a date. So with that in mind, I need a weapon, I don't have money to spend nor do I know of any place around here that has weapons I could steal (not that I would, my crime of choice is assault not theft.) So that leaves me with what I got in my bag and the area immediately around me. Hmmm yes, some nice fucking sticks and stones, those would make great weapons. If I was trying to make a make-shift axe or something, let's see what we got in the bag again. Again, some clothes, a book, and... BINGO, a small knife. I pulled it out, a simple black, small, barely useful, knife. It was dull beyond all hell, and would probably break with a small bend, but it's the best thing I got. And hey, at least I can flick it out intimidatingly and maybe that'll scare some people into talking. So with that being said, I shoved that knife into my pocket, hopefully not going to have to use it later, but just in case I'd rather be prepared.

So now, I suppose the best thing to do now is to just start moving. So, with that being said, I took a step forward and headed west, considering how north just led more into the town and south wasn't a very practical option. And while that meant that I had to pass the police station, thankfully it was still early (If you consider ten to be early) and no one was around. So, I didn't even need to bother sneaking by, I walked past the station and headed towards what seemed to be another forest, and while I wasn't in the best condition to be surviving in the wilderness, I don't really have much else of a choice. And besides, thankfully there's another trail, and while there isn't any indication of any nearby towns or cities, I'm sure if I were to walk for long enough I'd eventually find something. Hopefully.

So with that I entered the forest, nothing too special about it, it was old, filled with boring old trees and the smell of dirt and grass filled the area. Like I said, boring as hell. Only notable thing about this forest is that it covers a bit of that stupidly bright and hot sun, making it at least somewhat cooler and there are plenty of random plants growing around, weeds, vegetables and a few fruit trees. I'm starting to think I may have entered part of a farm here, but nonetheless it benefits me a bit. I'm not hungry right now so why bother, but later I may be, so I'll take note of this. And I continued down the long and boring path. It was peaceful I guess , and it was kind of a bit of a relief that I didn't have to worry about cops coming after me.

I spend a few hours continuing down the trail; every once in a while checking my leg casts making sure they're still functional, all it will take is one wrong snap, and I'm down for the count, I gotta make sure these things are functional. And while it probably wasn't a good idea to run down a forest trail with these things on I'm sure they're fine, I bet you they're intended for something like that. But nonetheless, they're fine, a little bit scuffed, but that's just from the dirt. So, most of the day just passed by without much issue. However, I'm sure this peace isn't going to last for too long. By the time night started to fall, I hit a part within the trail that displayed two signs, one to the east and one to the west. 'Walten Lot' and 'Mincefield' both of which were about five miles apart, I doubt either town will have any information about whose's fucking me over, but maybe I can at least get a lead. Fuck it, I took a right and headed towards Walten Lot to be honest that place sounds smaller and while that's not necessarily a good thing. It's better than getting surrounded by cops in Mincefield, so at least I have a smaller chance.
