Charlie Bradbury and Female Reader AU

Prompt: You have a timer on your wrist counting down to when you meet your soulmate and when the timer runs out you feel a slightly buzz on your arm.

(Your p.o.v)

     I was sitting in the car with my brothers Sam and Dean. We were on a way to help a friend of theirs with a case. This was the first case they've let me go on in a while because the last time I went on a case I messed up and got hurt. I was sitting in the back of the car with my headphones in listening to music while I looked at the timer on my wrist that has speed up slightly since we started our drive to meet their friend. It was weird that it was speeding up becaus it use to count down by seconds, but now it was counting down by minutes. I looked at the time on my phone and saw that we had about another two hour drive so I closed my eyes deciding to take a nap.

(Charlie's p.o.v)

     I was sitting in a motel rooming waiting for Sam and Dean. I was tapping my pen against the table and looking my wrist where my soulmate timer had switched from counting by seconds to counting by minutes. I was really confused, but elected to just ignore it for now. I pulled my computer closer to me and continued my research trying to figure out what monster I was hunting. My phone started ringing and I picked it up seeing Sam's name on the screen. I answered and said "Hey Sam." He said "Hey Charlie we are about a hour and a half away and Dean wanted me to let you know that we brought our sister along." When Sam said that they were an hour and a half away I looked down at my wrist and saw that exact time on my soulmate timer. I zoned out for a minute until I heard Sam say "Hey Charlie you there?" I said "Yeah um sorry just zoned out. Can't to see you guys I should get back to my research now." I heard him say "Yeah okay see you soon." I hung up the phone and threw it over to the bed looking at the timer on my arm again. After sitting staring for a few minutes I decided that I needed fresh air and something to drink so I decided that I would walk down to the vending machine and get a soda. I grabbed my phone and wallet putting them in my pocket and grabbing my gun placing it in the back of my jeans throwing my jacket on to cover it and because it was cold. I grabbed the key to the motel room than walked out and started walking towards the vending machine. I got my soda and a candy bar and started walking back to my room. I heard a noise behind me and quickly turned around with a hand behind my back in case I need to use my gun. I didn't see anything so I quickly turned around and started walking towards my room quicker. I got to my room and quickly walked shutting the door and locking it. 

(Your p.o.v)

     After about a hour I woke up stretching. I took my headphone out and placed in my bag with my phone and said "How much longer till we are there?" Sam turned to look at me and said "About a half hour." I nodded and said "Okay." I looked down at my wrist and saw that the timer said a hour and a half. I gasped slightly and Dean said "What's wrong Y/N?" I looked at him through the rear view mirror and said "Nothing I just bite my lip." He nodded and I looked down at my wrist again deciding to cover up the timer for now I pulled a jacket out of my bag slipping it on. I looked at Sam and said "So this friend of yours we are going to help what are they like?" Sam says "She is nice and geeky I think you will like her." I nodded and said "Okay." I pulled a candy bar out of my bag and opened it taking a bite. I took the knife that was in my boot out of my boot and started twirling it between my fingers. Sam looked at me and said "Put the knife away Y/N." I rolled my eyes, but put the knife back in my boot. I continued to eat my candy bar as I looked out the window. Dean stopped the car at a gas station and said "If you have to use the bathroom or you want food do it now because this is the last stop before we get to Charlie." I nodded and hopped out of the car to use the bathroom and get more snacks and a drink. I walked back out to the car and Sam and Dean were leaning against the side of the car. I walked up to them and Dean said "Took you long enough." I rolled my eyes and said "I was in there for like 5 minutes." He rolled his eyes and said "Just get in the car so we can go." I slowly got in the car. The boys got in than started the car.

~A little time skip~

(Charlie's p.o.v)

      I was sitting in my motel room looking through things in my notes about this case. As I was looking through my notes I noticed that the timer on my wrist only had 5 minutes left on it. I gulped and took a deep breath before I focused all my attention on my notes again. As I was checking my notes I heard a knock on my motel door. I grabbed my gun and slowly stood up and walked to the door looking through the peephole. I saw Sam and and Dean and put my gun in my jeans and slowly opened the door. Dean walked in and said "Hey Charlie how you doing?" I smiled and said "Good." Sam walked in and shut the door. I looked at them and said "I thought you guys said you brought your sister." Dean nodded and said "We did she stayed at our room for a few minutes because she needed to do something she'll be here soon." I nodded and started explaining to them what I had for the case so far. After a about four minutes there was another knock on the door and I walked over opening it. As I opened the door I saw a Y/H/C girl and felt a buzz on my arm. I looked down at my wrist and the timer was no longer there. I looked at the girl with a shocked look and she had the same look on her face. I opened the door wider and said "Come on in." Sam and Dean looked at us and Dean said "Oh Y/N so nice of you to finally join us." She looked at him than down at the ground. Sam said "You okay Y/N normally you would have a snarky reply to Dean?" She nodded and said "I'm fine I just can't believe what is happening right now." Both boys looked confused and Y/N looked at me and we both held our wrists up. The boys looked between us and said "Wow well um great for you guys." We both nodded and I said "We can deal with all this later for now the case." They all nodded and we all started to focus on my notes trying to figure things out.
