02. Hang Out

"WHAT?! YOU MEAN THE BTS WANTS TO HANG OUT WITH US-" Wooyoung practically yells before Yeosang covers his mouth with his hand. It would be an understatement to say that the Ateez members got shocked when their leader announced the news their manager told him. Wooyoung nearly loses his mind processing it because everyone knows how much he likes BTS.

"I know Wooyoung. But that's what our manager said. I also didn't believe him because it sounds like a prank, but then he gave this to me." Hongjoong shows them a USB flash drive. He inserts it to his lap and clicks on a video. Everyone scoots close to watch it eagerly. It shows all the BTS members sitting on a bed, Namjoon at the front.

"Hello guys, were BTS.....obviously." Namjoon starts with a chuckle. "I suppose you guys got to know that we would like to hang out with-" Namjoon gets interrupted by others laughing because Yoongi did air quotes when Namjoon Said hang out. Namjoon also lets out a laugh before continuing. "As I was saying, we'd like to hang out with you guys. This hang out is only for us to get some fun and just to get to know each other. So there won't be any cameras or any staff members. Also, nobody really knows about this except our managers and your managers. We all hope that you guys would accept our invitation and we'll have a good time together." Namjoon finishes with a dimpled smile. Rest of BTS waves at the camera with different facial expressions. Seokjin, Jimin and Yoongi with not so subtle smirks and Taehyung, Jungkook and Hoseok with excited smiles. Video ends with that.

"Jimin-ssi is so hot. I'm gonna faint when I see him." Wooyoung blurts out making his friends roll their eyes at the dramatic boy.

"So it's true. We are going right?" Mingi asks their leader.

"Fuck yes!" Wooyoung shouts before Hongjoong could answer. Seonghwa slaps the younger's shoulder for cursing. Wooyoung pouts at Seonghwa who huffs and rubs the spot he hit making Wooyoung smile again.

"I mean, everyone agrees. Right?" Hongjoong looks around at his members. Everyone nods agreeing.

"As excited as I am for this, I just feel like something is fishy about this." Hongjoong purses his lips.

"Same. Why did Yoongi-ssi air quote when Namjoon-ssi said hang out?" Yeosang says thoughtfully.

"What if they are gonna kidnap us and sell us?" San jokes making the others laugh.

"Like they already aren't filthy rich." Hongjoong dismisses it.

"What if they want to have an orgy with us?" Yunho says with a serious face. Everyone bursts out laughing hard.

"You pervert." Seonghwa hits Yunho's arm who just laughs harder.

"Jokes aside. What can be the real reason?....Jongho?" Hongjoong calls their maknae who hasn't said anything yet.

"It's understandable that why they don't want to film it. But why aren't there gonna be any staff members? That's kinda suspicious. Also how did our manager receive the flash drive?" Jongho voices out his thoughts.

"Their manager has given it to our manager. I also don't get why no staff members." Hongjoong answers him.

"I have an idea. What if we ask to meet one of them personally? So that we can at least make sure that it's really BTS." Mingi suggests.

"That's actually a pretty good idea." Hongjoong says and others also agrees to him.

As agreed with his members, Hongjoong informs their manager that they'd like to meet one of the BTS members. Apparently their manager have direct contact with BTS manager, so contacting them is not gonna be a problem. One day later, Ateez gets an answer informing about the meeting which means that BTS has granted their request. As their manager told them, one of the members would come to their dorm. They weren't told exactly who's coming, so they are all curious who it's gonna be as they are currently waiting in their living room for him to come.

"Guys, what if it's Jimin-ssi? Oh my god." Wooyoung dramatically gasps and pretends to faint, leaning onto Yeosang. Yeosang lightly slaps his cheek to 'wake him up'.

"I think it'll be Namjoon-ssi because he's the leader." Yunho says.

"Guys, I think it's him." Hongjoong signals the boys to be silent when he hears footsteps nearing the door. It's like everyone suddenly stops breathing. The faint sound of the air conditioner is the only thing that could be heard.

"Why do I feel like we're in a horror movie?" San whispers, not liking the silence. Suddenly he jumps with a high pitched sound making Yeosang, Wooyoung and Seonghwa who is sitting with him on the couch flinch. Jongho's suppressed laugh can be heard from behind the couch.

"What the hell man?" Wooyoung glares at San who is still clutching his chest. "I-I J-Jongho-he jumped at me from behind." San stammers. Seonghwa turns around to scold the younger when someone knocks their door. The boys starts looking at each other. Seonghwa sighs and gets up since no one seems to have the guts to open the door. Others watch with wide eyes as their hyung goes to the door and opens it. They can hear Seonghwa politely greeting someone before stepping aside to let them come in.

"OMG, it's Yoongi-ssi." Mingi whispers nudging Yunho.

Everyone stares with wide eyes as Yoongi walks into their living room and takes a seat on the spot Seonghwa was previously sitting which is right next to Wooyoung and crosses his legs. Seonghwa sits next Jongho.

Yoongi clears his throat since no one seems to say anything except staring at him especially Wooyoung who shamelessly checks out the male sitting beside him. 'Damn he is so hot' Wooyoung thinks unconsciously licking his lips. That makes them to break out of the trance and Hongjoong scrambles to his feet and bows at the elder apologizing. Others follow him, doing the same.

"Please guys, no need to be formal. But introducing yourselves would be nice." Yoongi says with a little smile. Hongjoong quickly nods and introduces everyone himself. Yoongi listens as if he doesn't already know about them.

"Uh Yoongi-ssi, would you like to drink something? Tea, coffee or-"

"Just water is fine." Yoongi glances at Hongjoong's ass when he walks off. He was subtle, but nothing goes unnoticed by Wooyoung's observant eyes. He slightly smirks and leans closer to Yoongi and whispers, "Hongjoong hyung has a thick, juicy ass, doesn't he? Yoongi is caught off guard by the younger's boldness. 'Jimin is gonna love this one.' He thinks and nods at the younger.

Hongjoong comes back with a glass of water and gives it to Yoongi, receiving a thank you from him. Yoongi takes a couple swigs and sets the glass aside.

"So, you guys wanted meet one of our members in person, right?" Yoongi raises a brow.

"Y-yeah. We-uh we're just so surprised and it caught us way off guard that BTS wants to hang out with us. Seems a bit suspicious and we thought this is the best way to clear those suspicions." Hongjoong explains carefully. Yoongi listens nodding head.

"Fair enough. Actually the reason why we're doing it because we wanted a change." In our sex lives, young thinks in his mind.
"Yes, we interact with other groups. But that's mostly during award ceremonies or TV shows. And that's on cameras. So we wanted to interact or hangout with another group without cameras and no staff because we want it to be normal which is something, as idols we don't get to experience. That's why no staff members. Also, if you're wondering why we specifically chose you guys is because you guys seem to really like us and we've seen you perform a few times and we think that you are interesting. Any questions?" Yoongi looks around for any questions from the boys who seem to be processing everything Yoongi said.

"We are so flattered that you think that we are interesting. Um, where exactly are we gonna meet up? I don't think our manager told us that." Mingi speaks up, breaking the silence.

"Oh yeah. We were gonna tell you guys later, but since I'm here now, might as well tell it. Our Jin hyung has this huge ass mansion right outside Seoul. No one really knew about it, except our members and now you guys know and we hope that it stays between us." The boys eagerly nods at Yoongi.
"Good. So, you up for this or do you need more time to think?"

The younger boys look at each other and nods in agreement.

"We're coming." Hongjoong declares.

"Cool. So, see you guys next week. I better get going. It was nice talking to you guys." Yoongi says getting up. Ateez say their good byes as Hongjoong accompanies him to the door.
