Percy PoV
"Percy, let me see what you are wearing!" My mom called. I walked out to the dining room, where my mom sat. "Oh Percy. That shirt is wrinkled. Go put on that blue shirt you have." I turned around and changed my shirt.
I glanced at the time, and ran out the door. I checked my phone, making sure I had the right address. 15 minutes later, I was outside Charlotte's apartment. I walked up to apartment 10B, and knocked on the door.
"Come in!" A voice called. I pushed the door open and walked in. The apartment was small. Not tiny small, but cozy small. Charlotte was sitting on the couch, tying her sneakers. She was wearing a cute blue dress, silver earrings and necklace.
Charlotte grabbed her purse and walked outside, locking the door behind me. "Where to?" She asked. "A Greek restaurant called Pylos. Have you been there?" "Yes! I love the food." (A/N: Food is amaZHANG) We made our way down the stairs, and walked to my car.
We drove to Pylos and went inside. "Hello, and welcome to Pylos!" "Reservations for 2 please." "Mr. Jackson?" "Yes." "Right this way please." I pulled a chair out for Charlotte, and sat down in my chair. the waiter brought us menus, and Charlotte made a weird noise. "What was that, Charlotte?" "Call me Lottie, and that's my friend Kelly, with her boyfriend in the corner!" "Well, Lottie, tell me about yourself."
"I am 19, I grew up on Long Island, I am the youngest of two, and I'm an extreme dog lover. Now tell me about you." " I am also 19 and the onl-" I was cut off by a loud roar. Charlotte stood up, and ran towards the noise. It was two hellhounds. Lottie grabbed her necklace and squeezed it until it became a beautiful sword.
She swung at the hellhounds grazing the first one's back. It howled in pain, and that infuriated the second hell hound. I uncapped riptide and went into battle mode. Soon, they both were gone. I turned and said, "Who?" "Athena." "WHAT!" "I know. Nobody knows why I look so different from everyone else."
"Have you been to Camp?" "Remember when you were on Ogygia?" "Yeah." "That was the entire time I was there." Kelly ran towards us and said, "Lotts? You ok?" "Yea, Kels. Not a scratch." 2 hours later, we had finished our dinner, and we were walking around Central Park with our dessert.
"How come you left?" I asked her. "No one would talk to me about what had happened to you, and my so called head counselor was being a bitch to everybody. The only person who would talk to me was Silena."
When she said that, I gasped. "Lottie, do you know? About Silena?" "Yea, Percy, I know. Her sister found my number taped to a picture of us being idiots." "Oh." "Let's go to my apartment." We walked to my car, and I drove to her apartment.
We walked inside and she said, "Let's watch a movie." "Ok. What movie?" "How about... The Avengers?" "I've never seen it." "What? How? We are so watching it." I sat down on the couch and she leapt up to go get popcorn. Lottie put the movie on, and snuggled against me. Slowly, I felt Hypnos starting to work his magic on me until I fell asleep.
