Isla sighed as she sat in bed. She felt like she hadn't slept at all. Her head felt a mess and she didn't know how to feel about it. She just didn't know what to do about weather or not to tell Max her baby might not have been his.

Isla looked up as Tom walked in. He smiled. "I think we need to talk to Max. About the baby. And how it might not be his," he told her.

Isla nodded. "I know. I just... I'm not ready for the chaos it will cause. Kim will definitely go after Alexa now. And I'm worried about it all," she said.

Tom nodded and kissed her. He smiled. "It will be okay. I won't let them hurt or upset you," he said. He looked to her. "Have you heard from Alexa?"

Isla smiled. "Yeah. The baby is so beautiful. Lex loves being a mum to her. I want to meet her. But Alexa doesn't feel safe," she said.

Tom sighed. "Kim can't control everything can she? She can't keep your sister away from you. We both know that. So stop letting her think she's won. Text Alexa. And tell her you want to see her."

Isla nodded and text Alexa who text back saying okay. Isla grinned. "She's going to see me."

"Good. Ill cover for you at work. I'll say you're unwell. But tomorrow we need to talk to Max," Tom said.

"Okay."

Isla went into town. She smiled as she saw Alexa. She walked over. "Hey. How have you been?"

Alexa smiled slightly. "On edge. Constantly looking over my shoulder. Making sure Kim isn't lurking around to take her from me. But I'm okay. I love being her mummy."

Isla nodded and grinned. "Can I see her?"

"Yeah. Sure."

Isla grinned as she took her baby niece from Alexa. "Oh my god. She has your chubby cheeks. She's beautiful," she said.

"She is. I love being her mummy. Her full name is Isabella-Isla Mason. She's not having Max's name at all. She's all mine."

Isla smiled as she looked to her. "She's beautiful. She really is."

"Thanks. Listen. Don't tell anyone you've seen me. Okay? I just can't handle them all knowing I'm still here. I like the bubble I've got with me and Bella. No one knows about me. And that's what I'm keeping at."

Isla pulled her close and smiled. She looked to her. "I won't tell anyone at all. Tom is covering for me today. But I'm gonna go in," she told her.

Alexa nodded and smiled. "Maybe you could come over to my new place? Bring Tom. I owe him a lot too. Especially as he's been helping me."

Isla smiled and nodded. "Oh I will. You better believe it."

Isla went into work. She saw Tom who walked over to her. "Did you see her?" He asked.

"I did. The baby is so beautiful. She really does look like Alexa. Tom... I need her back here," she told him.

Tom smiled and pulled her close. He kissed her. "She'll come back when she's ready. She's just been through a lot."

Isla nodded and walked inside. Kim walked towards her. "You're going to tell me where Alexa is. She's got my baby."

"No. She doesn't. She's got her own baby."

Kim smirked. "Well I've contacted the police. Reported her for kidnap. Let's see how she gets out of this one."

Isla rolled her eyes and walked off. She wasn't in the mood to deal with Kim's actions. She didn't feel too good.

Isla was sitting in the staffroom. Rachel walked in and smiled. "Hey. You okay? You look pale."

"I'm okay. I just don't feel too well. But I'm getting there," Isla said as she rubbed her stomach.

Rachel frowned as she watched the colour draining from her daughters face. She watched in horror as Isla collapsed. But just what was wrong with her?
