Anne has always admired Marcy.

The Raven haired girl was smart, pretty and kind, and since they were 10 Anne had developed a crush on the girl. Though she never had enough courage to say anything. Unlike Marcy and Sasha, Anne had slight anxiety. She found it hard to say things. Or even stand up for herself...

And another thing, she didn't want to ruin their relationship, if Anne told Marcy about her crush it could DESTROY their friendship. She just... wasn't ready. But it was hard, she gets all flustered when the raven haired girl was around giving her a hard, hard time concentrating on... ANYTHING.

It was annoying, to say the least.

But, it wasn't Marcy's fault. She just.. has to get over this crush.

And a thing she hoped to help... was the prom. She was exited for it. She loved dressing up, and she loved the food served at dances. Anne wanted to tell Marcy how she feels, more than anything. Telling Marcy at the prom would be best. Right? Anne hoped so, because she was going to tell Marcy how she feels.

Who cares if Marcy doesn't feel the same way! They could still be friends... at least thats what Anne hopes.

"Anne!" She heard her mother call "are you ready for prom?"

"Yeah!"

Anne wore a blue dress with glitter on the rim around her waist, and glitter on her cuffs, her socks are pitch black. She also wore semi-high heels. Walking down stairs to meet her parents she trips on her dress falling down the stairs. She bangs her head "owww!" She whines out "Anne!" Her dad runs up to her "are you okay!" He helps her up while her mom grabs a first aid kit "yeah, I'm fine"

Anne rubs her head. "That looked like a hard fall, do you still want to go to the pro-"

"Yes!" She doesn't even let her mom finish "I promise I'm fine" she forces a smile despite the pain she is feeling. "Let's just get to prom" her parents weren't entirely convinced but decided not to push.

After they arrived at the prom Anne's parents asked one last time if she was okay, and obviously the brunette said she was fine. She waved to her parents.

After they were gone she inhaled, she was going do it. She was going to confess to Marcy. Walking into the room where the prom was held, the prom was being held in their school of course, and it was in the sports hall.

She looked around for Marcy, and saw her sitting with Sasha. Laughing. Anne didn't know why, but she felt jealous. Anne, calm down, they are just friends, She scolded herself. But something caught her attention, Marcy was blushing. Anne felt her heart break, what else would she be blushing at?

Just then a pain hits her head like a dump truck, that fall did more than she thought. Pushing that aside she saw Marcy waving at her. Anne stood still. I can't face her... Anne spun around and ran out of the hall.

"Sash? What's wrong with Anne?" Marcy turns to the blonde, "I don't know" they both give each other a concerned look. "Maybe check on her?" Sasha gave a sly smile.

"Yeah, I'll go talk to her"

Anne slumps down in the garden, she liked the flowers that grew there. And it was an overall peaceful place. Come on Anne! Don't be jealous, they are your best friends. You should support them... Anne silently scolded herself.

But no matter what she said, she felt a sense of jealousy. A rustling bush knocked her out of her thoughts. "Boo" a familiar raven haired girl said? "Marcy! H-hey- what.. what are you doing??" Anne tried her best to stay calm. The sight of Marcy only made her heart ache more.

"Checking on you, duhhhhhh" she giggled sitting down next to her "I.. would like to be left alone.." Anne muttered turning away. "Hey, Anna-banana. What's up..?" Marcy's voice turned into concern "don't call me that" she replied more hostile than she intended.

Anne! Stop, you'll ruin your friendship! Ugh... she placed her head between her knees. "Anne, seriously what's wrong?" Marcy became more serious, Anne let out a small mumble "Anne, you can tell me. I'm your friend" the brunette knew Marcy would keep on about it.

"Fine! I'm jealous okay?!" She raised her voice "jealous?" Marcy echoed "yes! I'm jealous of you and Sasha!"

"Jealous of me and Sash.... Why?"

"Well.. y-you like her don't you?! I know I shouldn't be jealous but it's hard!" Anne started to cry "what?" Marcy let out a small giggle.

"Why would you think that?"

"You- you were blushing at her! It hurt! To- to see you like that!" Anne now had small tears dropping of her face.  "I wasn't blushing at her.. but why do you care so much..?" Marcy placed a hand on her friends shoulder to which Anne removed quickly "you... weren't?" Marcy shook her head.

"You are an idiot Mar mar! I like you!" Marcy's face became red fast. "I never knew how to tell you, I was scared" Marcy shot her a sympathetic look. "I thought it would ruin our friendship! And- and you probably don't even like me! So I'm.. I'm sorry!" Anne felt Marcy place a hand over hers "Anne.. I think you are the idiot here. I like you too." Anne's eyes shot open.

"The only reason I was blushing when I was with Sasha was because she was teasing about it" Marcy giggled. Anne's frown gradually became an awkward smile "god I'm an idiot, I'm so oblivious!" Anne face palmed hear head forgetting how she got it this morning "ow!" Marcy's smile became a frown. "Anne?! What's wrong?" Marcy grabbed her hands "o-oh I kinda tripped on my dress when I was coming down the stairs at me house" Anne let out a dry chuckle.

"And you say I'm the klutz" Marcy chuckles and before anne can respond Marcy cups her cheeks and plants a kiss on Anne's for head. Turning Anne into a tomato.

"Finally" they both turn around to see Sasha standing at the door way with a cup of the punch, sipping it. "Sasha!" Anne hides her face.

"So you like dating now?" Marcy pulls Anne into a cuddle "what do you say Anne, wanna be my girlfriend?" Anne nods slightly.

"Great! So um... you coming back to the prom?"

"I think I'm going to take Anne to the nurses office, she kinda hurt her head" Sasha nodded leaving the girls alone. "Come on babe" Anne couldn't lie, hearing Marcy say that made her all kinds of happy, but at the same time made her embarrassed. They both got up hand in hand and headed to the nurses office.
