Chapter - 9

Kunal goes home. He had his dinner and goes to his room

Kunal's room

He lies on the bed and closes his eyes. But he gets the flashes of the scarf girl and then of Samriti's cute behavior. And he calling her cute....

Kunal (thinks) – what's happening to me ?? I could not believe that I complimented a girl. Till today no girl affected me but these two...... I agree that Samriti is my employee so I know her and it makes sense if I think about her but why am I always thinking about that girl. Who is she to me ?? But whenever I think about her I feel very happy, contented in my heart as if I have everything in this world.

He switches on the tv to get out of these thoughts. There he sees a lip lock scene. He immediately shuts the tv down.

Kunal goes to talk with Ruchika to avoid these thoughts but while he is going to Ruchika's room. He heard his parents' conversation.

Annapurna – ji listen I want Kunal to get married. It is the right age to get married.....

Damodarprasad – ha you are right Annapurna. Even I want the same but you know he is the most eligible bachelor in the whole city. So I need a girl who is perfect for him.

Annapurna – yes I too feel the same. I don't want a girl who is rich in money but rich in values.

(Kunal gets attached to her words.)

Damodarprasad – ya Annapurna I too don't want a rich girl as my daughter-in-law..... But Kunal always keeps on saying status and all.

Kunal (to himself) – you misunderstood me, papa. Yes of course I care about my status but I don't want a rich girl as my wife....If she marries me she will automatically become rich....I don't care about money.....(questioning himself)But what do I want actually ?? Which type of girl I want ?? (Suddenly he again gets flashes of scarf girl) ahhh I think she will never leave my thoughts. I have to do something about this......

he continues listening.

Annapurna – no ji. Kunal does not know what he wants actually. So you convince him for marriage and I will find the best girl for him.

Kunal comes inside – then start finding mom...

Annapurna and Damodarprasad – Kunal....

Kunal – mom dad I heard everything. I don't want any rich girl... mom I agree with marriage. You start searching a girl. I will marry the girl of your choice.

Annapurna (shocked) – am I dreaming ?? you will marry the girl of my choice ?? Don't kid me Kunal.....

Kunal – mom I am not kidding. I am serious. I know a mother knows about her children more than anyone in this world..... and I seriously don't have any idea about the qualities or requirements but I have only one. She should understand me as I am a busy man, She should not complain about not giving time to her and all that...

Annapurna and Damodarprasad (shocked and happy) – okay beta we will see a girl no no best girl for our son.

Kunal (smiles) – ok mom good night. Good night dad.

Annapurna and Damodarprasad – good night beta.(dear)

Kunal sees the time. It's too late so he goes to bed.

Samriti is working in her laptop.

Shivam seeing the lights on in her room goes to her room.

Shivam – Shona are you still awake ??

Samriti – ha papa actually we have a meeting tomorrow. It's really important. My boss strictly warned me to complete it.
