'EJ your brother is on his way, it'd be a good idea if you got up and got ready you can use the shower.' Ethan says trying to wake me.

I look over to read the clock and it reads 7:30. 'Are you crazy it's so early, let me sleep,' I groan turning over, 'I have a headache.'

'Well that no one's fault but your own. Seriously kid I would get up, knowing jay he won't like it if you aren't up, especially when you've been asked.' He lectures.

'Well, he can deal with me himself, I'm already in trouble so it doesn't matter.' I rant.

'Alrighty then. I tried,' Ethan says then leaves. I gladly fall back asleep. But it only lasted half an hour. Before I was rudely awakened by someone pulling off the duvet.

'Get up,' Jay orders, and I groan rolling on to my stomach.

'Elliot get up now or I'm going to drag you out of this bed myself.' He threatened.

'Nooo,' i complained, 'please just let me sleep,' I say with my head in the pillow.

'right that's it I warned you,' he grabs hold of my arm and tries to pull me up but I slap him on the arm, and doesn't even flinch.

'Fuck off Jayson,' I yell. But in response he just lifted me off the bed and on to my feet.

'Let's just get a couple of things straight little girl,' he starts in a deathly calm voice, 'You are now going to be living with me and Will so you will get your act together. When you are told to do something by someone you do it first time. No more swearing, smoking and definitely no drinking.' He lectures.

'You are overreacting,' I roll my eyes.

'Enough with the attitude Elliot,' he shouts, 'you are not too old to go over my knee. And I know that's what dad did.' He said quietly.

I don't say anything and try to get out of his grasp, ' you have 15 minutes to shower and get changed and downstairs waiting for me. Here's some clothes. Is that understandable enough for you?' he asks

'yes sir,' I say and he leaves. I spend the next 10 minutes in the shower and then five minutes getting ready. After getting dressed i put the clothes Ethan gave me in the hamper and head down stairs. Jay and ethan are talking at the table when I enter the kitchen.

'Ethan has made some breakfast Elliot so i suggest you thank him.' Jay suggests.

'Thank you ethan' I say sitting down,

'No problem kid.' He says, 'I need to go and wake up noah, so I'll leave you two too it,'

'Thanks man.' Jay says

Ethan leaves and me and jay are stuck in an awkard silence as I tuck into my food. I do my best to look invested in my meal so jay doesn't start a conversation.

'So we need to talk about dad,' jay starts.

'Urghhh,' I groan, 'I don't want to I have a headache.'

'Kid this is important, me and will are now your guardians so you are ours. We need to go back to dad's house and get some stuff sorted out, so please can you help us and not have an attitude and just behave.'

'Hold on your's and will's apartment only has two bedrooms.'

'Yes I know, so me and you are going to be sharing for a couple of weeks until we can find another apartmnent.' Jay says

'No way, fuck no,' I yell throwing down my fork.

'excuse you?' he says

'there is no way I am sharing a room with you, why can't you and will share?' I whine.
