It's been days since Cory found out about Angel being Shawn's destiny girl. He's been trying to figure out a way to tell his best friend without Shawn blowing up on him.
Meanwhile, Angel has been going on pointless dates that Jaden and her sister has been setting her up on. They think that she should try to get over Shawn, especially since it's breaking the poor girl inside every time she sees him flirting with other girls at the school. He's clearly moved on and so should she, which is why she's currently in Chubbies on a date with some guy on the football team at school.
"So Angel, the coach says 'Scooter!' That's what he calls me." 'Scooter' cockily says, "Go in there and save the day."
Angel boredly stares at the boy, her arm propped up on the table with her head laying on her hand as she tried to make it seem like she's interested in his story. "Gee, what happened Scooter?"
Scooter scoffed and motioned to himself, "Well, I saved the day." He looked at her like it was obvious before leaning forward. "You wanna make out?" Angel gave him a grossed out look, she saw movement in the corner of her eye before they widened when she realized who it was. Shawn standing a few feet away from her table with Cory and Topanga. Her eyes quickly drifted to the table, as she tried to tune back into the conversation with Scooter. "Uuhhh." Her heart began to race when she noticed Shawn making his way over to her table, but she straightened her posture and plastered a confident smile on her face. "Oh, hey Shawn." She gently reached out to touch his arm, shooting a warm sensation up her arm.
Shawn smiled at the girl, "Hey." He glanced down at a familiar book that was on the table. "Hey, is this um...is this a book of sonnets?"
Angel smiled as she was slightly impressed of Shawn knowing what the book was. "Yes, Beth finally returned my book back to me."
Shawn's ears perked up at the mention of Beth, more specifically her saying that she just got the book back. Shawn couldn't contain his excitement and began giggling.
Angel also began laughing but out of confusion at how weird the boy was acting, "Why're you giggling?"
"Am I? Hee hee." Angel's laugh faded out in worry now and she leaned forward.
"Are you okay, Shawn?"
Shawn turned around to glance over at Cory who whispered yelled, telling him to look into Angel's eyes. Shawn kept giggling until he turned back and connected his eyes to Angel's brown orbs. His laughter seized as he stared deeply into Angel's eyes which scared Angel from how he was staring at her.
"Shawn, why are you looking at me like that?" She panicked as her heart began to race even more, it was beginning to terrify her that the guy she's been pining after her is staring at her the way she's been waiting for the past year.
Shawn leaned forward to get a better look at Angel's chocolate orbs that had minor specks of light brown near her pupils. "Because, I've never have before."
Angel tilted her head when Shawn abruptly dropped her book back onto the table and walked away, leaving the girl confused.
"Um...what was that?" Scooter asked as he turned to looked at Shawn before turning back to her, who kept her eyes on Shawn.
"I don't know."

"You don't understand guys, the way Shawn looked at me yesterday...it was like everything I dreamt of since last year." Angel ranted to her twin and best friends as they stood by her locker.
