(1) Why Am I Here

Again I do not own Percy Jackson or the Heroes of Olympus hope you like my story!

Percy's POV:

 My name is Percy Jackson and i'm boarding my friends yacht for her birthday. All I can think about is why I'm even here. Let me elaborate my best friends Jason made me come to Bianca Di Angelo's birthday on her yacht  for a week in the water.

See Jason Grace is my best friend, has been for years. Jason has blonde hair in like a military cropped hairstyle, he has electric blue eyes and another one of my close friends named him blonde superman. Jason was born in a wealthy family, while I had been raised in a stable home with my father Poseidon who had a good job and my mother Sally stayed home with me. That was until my father had died and i'm %100 he was murdered but the detectives on the job were clearly idiotic if they couldn't see that. Ever since that night when I came home to my father dead I knew I wanted to be better than those detectives that got it all wrong with the case. Though after my father passed, my mother eventually remarried to a man named Gabe at first he was great nice but the second she said I do he changed. 

Eventually my mom divorced him, but a few years later she was diagnosed with lung cancer and I needed the extra money once I finished high school, I wasn't able to go to university to become a detective because I needed to get the money for her treatment. I eventually started to date a girl named Rachel she also came from a wealthy family. Slowly her father started to give me small portions of money and it confused me why, I asked and he said to ensure I stay at first I had no clue what that meant but soon realized it meant it was a bribe to stay with Rachel.

Soon the amount of money he gave me started to grow I was fine with it at first because it gave me extra money for my mom. Later on though I lost my feelings for Rachel, she started to change she put more makeup on, started to wear different clothes, and stoped her hobby of painting. Now I feel stuck and I want to break up with her, but at the same time I need the money for my mom. She also now, goes behind my back a few times with other guys. 

Though I caught her again so I decided that i'm going to break it off with her on this cruise.

Once we get on the boat Jason and I go to see our friends or mostly his but some are mine as well. "Hey Jason, do you think I should break it off with Rachel this week?", see Jason is the only one who knows about my mom and Rachels dad bribing me to stay with her. "Percy, bro have I not been telling you to do this! I been telling you since she first started to be, well weird and fake. But on a goddamn cruise thats a bit hurtful. I don't know ask Piper she knows more about this stuff than I do. I think it's a great idea though!", yes Piper is Jasons girlfriend, she is of cherokee descent. She has chocolate brown choppy hair, her eyes seemed to change colour like a kaleidoscope.

Pipers a lot better at relationships than anybody I know, asking her might be the only smart thing Jasons ever told me to do. With that I make my way over to wherever Piper is. After quite a bit of looking all over the cruise boat I found her and Thalia talking to some girl all I could though was the back of her.

"Hey Piper!" I yell over in there direction, just then the girl they were talking to turned around to look were my voice had come from. Let me tell you she was beautiful, her blonde hair was is princess curls, her eyes shined with intelligence, they were a beautiful grey colour, and her skin was tanned and it was a real one. She was his definition of beautiful, she looked perfect in her jean shorts, grey top and sandals.

"Yeah?", Piper answers, "I have a question for you", I say motioning her to come alone. Once she got here I asked "Do you think I should break up with Rachel? Like this week", see Piper knows how I lost feelings for Rachel but she doesn't anything else. "I mean Percy if you don't have any feelings yet then yeah, don't think about what she might think. Do what you want. Also..." She starts dragging me towards Thalia and the other girl. "Percy meet Annabeth Chase, Annabeth meet Percy Jackson", with that Piper leaves with Thalia close behind. I just tell her I want to break up with my current girlfriend and she's already trying to set me up with someone else.

"Hey" Annabeth starts, "So you're Percy. Jason, Piper, Grover, Leo, Nico, Will, and Thalia have told me loads about you!", I walk away knowing I would make a fool of myself in front of her. 

I bumped into Rachel, "Hey baby" she says to me putting on her fake smile. "Hey Rachel" I say as she gives me a peck running off to who knows were probably to blow money on pointless things in life. While I continue the walk to my room I get lost in thought thinking why am I here.

I walk around the boat, soon I see the list of people Bianca has invited

My eyes froze on a name that I recognized from high school the worst years of my life Luke. Why is he here? Why is his goon Ethan here to? 

Again the same thought comes to my mind Why Am I Here?

Ok I trying again with this book now the main reason I even posted it so you guys can view was so if you guys can tell what you think. Do you guys think it's starting off strong going into the right direction, I would like anytime of opinions because this is my first AU and I would like to do the best I can. I am completely open to constructive criticism.  Please COMMENT + VOTE it would mean a lot and i'll do my best to update as much as possible with both this and my Mortals Meet Percabeth also go check that out too if you haven't already! Also I hope to make the rest of my Chapters longer I only made this one short and quick since it is only the opening one. Peace out!
