The reef is place in homeworld where higher ranked gems can get a pearl, a pearl is a servant or assistant to homeworld gems so they would be lower ranked. Every reef has a Nacre a reef's manager to keep it in order its a pearl's worst fear but they can be nice some are harsh though.. There are many pearls to choose from! Also, Defects are not allowed and are shattered a defect is a gem that has a different body height or size from what they're supposed to be, A fusion pearl is known as facility pearls!
