Chapter 1- Matt and Guest

"Uncle matt!" Charlotte says happily as Matt walks through the door, Matt was only at their house for Charlottes birthday party. "You made it, fianlly!" Daisy says in a joking matter, They look outaide at Guest, he was already cooking the hotdogs for dinner. Matt walked outside and gave Guest a hug that doesn't look like a freind hug, but beacaue they are so close you'd think nothing of it. "I could have burnt myself!" Guest says half serious half joking, "So i scared you?" Matt says happy to have finally found a way to scare him though he actually knows of many other ways. "Yeah yeah you win" Guest says, a light blush covers his cheeks.

Dinner is ready now and everyone is sitting at the table, "not gonna sit next to me, your wife tonight?" Daisy says to Guest cause hes sits down next to Matt. "Well that just means you getta sit next to the birthday girl tonight!" Charlotte says as if she was helping them cover something up for them, she gave Matt and guest a happy smile and begins to eat her hot dog, all through dinner Daisy looks sad, her husband hasnt been giving her much attention, but she understands that he wants to hang with Matt cause he barley comes to see them anymore. Everyone is so busy with work it seems like maybe Daisy should be givin attention too, but she doesn't mind it cause they do live together.

Matt gets up and throws everyones plate away for them, while hes inside he grabs the presents and bring them out for Charlotte to open them, she was non stop talking about what she thinks she got all dinner! "YAYYAYAYAYAYAY" Charlotte screams when she sees Matt bringing the presents outside, Daisy gave Matt a look kinda saying 'i wanted to do cake first' so Matt stoped and put them down away from Charlotte "cake first! Its like birthday rules or something!" Matt says to Charlotte and she looks a little sad but she still looks happy for cake, Daisy gives Matt another look but this one is like a 'thanks' look, Daisy gets up to go grab the cake. Matt goes and sits next to guest and they start talking about how work has been, "yeah its like they enjoy giving me more and more things to do, by this point i will be making like a lot of money but i wont even have time to spend it, lame!" Matt says looking annoyed, "is that why you dont come over anymore, why we dont meet up?" guest asks a little sad thinking of the thought of not being able to hang out again but shakes it off. "Yeah.." Matt says a little sad as well, "you know its actually kindal funny how you and Daisy were childhood best friends and got married.. Like thats like a 1/100 chance you know?" Matt says in a joking but weird way. "We're childhood friends too... But i didn't gwt that chance like him.." Matt whispered but it was still loud enough for guest to hear him. "What?!" guest says shocked, "huh?" matt says confused, "YOU LIKE.. DAISY??" guest yells to Matt a little mad, but more sad "WHAT NO! I DIDNT MEAN IT LIKE THAT I MEANT IT DIFFERENTLY.." Matt says rhinking he might have a chance, hes on the verge of tears and its obvious. "Hey wait... Dont... No.... Uhg.." Guest says then hugs Matt and Matt begins to cry a little, "sorry this is just stupid, i shouldn't be crying i knew i wouldnt have a chance but i still..." matt says defeated. "No chance? Your chance is still here.." guest says nervously then he lets out a chuckle, then Matt starts laughing, now they are both laughing histaricaly.

Daisy walks outside with the cake fully lit, "happy-" she starts singing, "happy birthday-" now they sing the song to Charlotte and she has the normal embarrassed look you get when people sing happy birthday to you. Daisy starts cutting a slice for Charlotte , meanwhile matt and guest are talking to each other without their voice or hands, "𝕒𝕣𝕖 𝕨𝕖... Matt mouths to guest feeling only a little bad for Daisy."𝕚.. Matt and Guest leave there and go off riding into the sunset..
