Chapter 10 Getting Ready

Monique POV

We finished eating and overall everyone had left over's. We put the leftovers in the fridge and told the group goodbye.

Carrie and Veronika told me they be over around 1 o'clock so they could take me shopping. I let out a grunt again and told them bye.

Me and Calib told Cody and Michael goodnight and went up to my room.

He closed the door behind him and I took my shirt off leaving me in my bra and joggers.

I placed my phone on the speakers and let the music play softly. Cody took of his shirt and basketball shorts leaving him in his boxers. I took his shirt and took of my bra and slipped it on.

I took of my joggers and changed into a pair of shortie shorts. He laid down beside me I turned around so I was facing him. " I guess I'm going shopping tomorrow".

He nodded his head he started rubbing his thumb on my cheek back and forth, until my eyes slowly shut and he kissed my forehead.

He whispered "goodnight" in my ear I mumbled it back and fell asleep.

Monique POV

I slowly open my eyes to find sunlight in my eyes. Someone had opened the curtain I got up and went in the bathroom to do my routine.

I came out and walked back into the room. Calib was still in the bed so I went downstairs to go make a breakfast sandwich.

I went to Cody's room and went to see if he was still sleeping. But when I got to his room his bed was empty.

I walked back downstairs and found him on the couch. "Morning" I said all cheery  "mmm" replied back.

"Whats up your butt" "nothing I'm just tried sorry" "It's okay". I went in the kitchen and took out bacon, eggs, cheese, and spinach sandwich.

Cody POV

I glanced at her every once in awhile. I don't think she even notice what she came down stair in.

She was wear black shorts and one of Calibs shirts. She was humming something and dancing along to it.

She had her hair all natural. It stop a two or three inches above her butt, even this early in the morning I think she beautiful.

I have no idea what Calib planned for their date. But I made a mental note to ask him about it later. I snapped out of my thought when she sat by me.

"What were you thinking about" she asked. "Nothing so what are you going to do today" I asked stealing a piece of bacon.

"I have to do whatever Carrie and Veronika planned for me to get ready for this date.

It would make me really happy if you came with me please she begged".

"Okay Okay" I said she let out a squeal after I answered. I stole another piece of her bacon that's when we heard Calib coming downstairs followed by Michael.

They walked into the kitchen and made them selfs breakfast.

Monique POV

I finished my breakfast with the help of Cody. I looked at the time it was 12 o'clock. I placed my plate in the sink. "Okay I got jobs for all three of you. "

"One of you need to empty the dishwasher." "Someone needs to refill than another empty it again."

"When I come back downstairs it better be running and Cody you better get ready." I headed for stair hear them trying to figure out who should do what.
