the soft sunlight of spring sneaks in through the curtains to the body laying on the floral bed sheets. it's only 9 am, and mornings in boston are still chilly, but with the sun shining outside it's the perfect weather to be outside.

it is also bright enough to wake up the brunette from her slumber.

flora flutters her eyes open, letting them adjust to the light. she sits up before rubbing her eyes awake as she yawns. this morning there's no sad taylor songs humming softly in the room. in fact, there's no music playing. there's just the sound of birds singing outside.

it's a good change. or at least that's what flora let's herself believe. it's quiet for a second, but only a second.

flora's phone starts ringing.

flora hates going through phone. social media ruined the fun in doing anything but play subway surfers. the hate, unasked opinions, unwanted attention, unnecessary drama, etc. but she was born into the spotlight, so no matter where she went, the attention was always on her.

except yesterday at the sturniolo household. all three triplets were very chill back and down to earth. they were easy to adjust, and it was funny seeing them interact with each other. it was like hanging out with iris and sam, except paparazzi weren't following them everywhere they went. it was just them four, without the rest of the world watching.

fuck, nick even asked flora if he can post those three pictures before posting them. it was small gesture, but it brought back that warm feeling she felt earlier.

flora reaches for her glass of water she always fills every night, taking her sweet time savoring the cold liquid refreshing her dry mouth. she's never been one to answer phone calls.

still, the stubborn ring tone never stopped.

with a sigh, flora sets the glass back in the nightstand and grabs her phone. as suspected, it's iris calling. iris has been busy with her new album, hence why she's been in new york for the past month. so she has yet to be fill in about the deal flora made with chris, and had to find out about a fake relationship through the posts.
