although they texted, it's been a whole week since flora and chris hung out with each other. flora tried to make plans, but chris would say he was busy each and every time. it confused flora even more, and even hurt a little.

the truth was, chris couldn't face flora at the moment. after the talk with matt, chris felt like an absolute asshole, especially after flora shared a little bit of herself to him.

but it's been a week and flora is all chris' guilty mind can think of. so, he put his big boy pants, and finally gave in to a hang out with flora.

"a barnes and nobles date? wow, flora, you are moving fast." sam stood in front of flora's closet, holding two shirt options for flora.

flora shrugs, "you know i can't turn down barnes and nobles."

of course sam would see it as a date, everyone is, but really it's just a hang out between two friends helping each other out. nothing more.

finally, flora settled on a dark, laced tank top under a taylor swift cardigan and low-waisted jeans paired with black converse. she tied her hair in a braid and looked over at her full size mirror.

"is this good?"

sam just gives flora a bored expression, still holding two shirts. "you made me hold these for nothing?"

flora walks towards sam and takes the shirts away, "i feel silly." sam helps flora hang one of the shirts, "a good silly?" they walk out of the closet, and flora sits in front of her vanity.

she hasn't seen chris is a while. they barely met, but he already made a big impact in her life. flora hasn't forgotten that morning at his house either. it was a simple morning to them, but for once flora felt like she was part of a family.
