Doctor: It's time.

Charlotte: You know it's funny, I've been paying his medical bills for nine years and I don't even know anything about him.

Piper: Mom, We've tried, we can't keep paying these expenses for anymore years, and we don't even know the kid, it's time to let go now.

Doctor: What do you see in this kid?
You've been paying his bills for so long and you don't even know him, why?

Charlotte: I don't know, nine years ago my daughter had an asthma attack.
And her condition progressively got worse till she had to undergo surgery, they put her in a room and I couldn't be in the room with her, that kid used to keep her company, even though he was unconscious.

Piper: Hmm. We've come a long way, buddy. (She said, patting me on my shoulder)

Doctor: So what's it gonna be?

Charlotte: Give me an hour to decide.

Piper: In the meantime, we don't know anything about John Doe, could we atleast get a file or something.

Doctor: Requesting a file for Patient 3616.

The nurse at the computer started to type.

Nurse: That's weird.

Doctor: What's weird?

Nurse: There is no such patient.

Doctor: Must be a glitch or something.

Nurse: No, we're the only persons with access to this database, no one else can hack into it or alter it, as that's a major crime.

Doctor: What, no, that can't be, he has always been Patient 3616. Check the coma records.

She checked.

Nurse: Nothing.

Doctor: Coma archives.

She checked.

Nurse: There's 3615, 3617, no 3616

Doctor: I'm gonna check the storeroom guys, be right back.

Charlotte: Okay.

Piper: What do you think his name will be? I'm guessing Daniel.

Charlotte: (Laughs) Really.

The doctor came back with my file.

Doctor: What in the...

Charlotte: What?

Doctor: This kid's got the weirdest profile ever.

Doctor: Sophien Cole, admitted at five years old, (reason for admission is unknown) He was supposedly found in a burning house. Some people said that he was abused and that his parents died in a fire, but he didn't, and the trauma made him go into a coma-like state. Has been reported to have moved a few times... What the hell am I reading, I can see why they chose to hide this file. "He's been reported to shift, whisper, smile, and even move things in his coma", the fuck...

Charlotte: Well, I can't keep covering his expenses, unplug him.

Pov: Piper

My mom looked sad as she said that.

Charlotte: Goodbye, kiddo.

Doctor: I'm sorry to hear that.

Another doctor came in to take the time of death.

The doctor unplugged me from the machine.

There was a moment of silence as my heart kept beating.

Doctor: What the hell...

Doctor 2: The stories are true then!..

Doctor 3: He's in a vegetative state?

Sophien: No my friend, I'm just sleeping.
