1 Day Till the First Understanding

Pov: Piper

I walked downstairs, i thought i heard noises.

Then i saw Sophien's wheelchair, empty.

🎼Ominous Music🎼

I started freaking out and then i walked into the living room and saw him sitting on the sofa, not moving an inch.

Then mom came and turned on the light.

Charlotte: Oh hey honey, I was just testing Sophien's feet. Doctor's say that he's not paralyzed, so i don't know why he's not moving, and he spoke in his coma, so we know he can talk, but he just won't.

Piper: It's 3:00 AM mom, why are you stressing yourself.

Charlotte: I moved him out of your room, and now he's not sleeping, so i figured, why not do some exercises.

Piper: Hmm, well i'm gonna go back to bed, so goodnight.

Mom and wheelchair boy watched me walk back upstairs.

Then i found myself back downstairs.

I walked back upstairs and in the hallway was a guy, it was sophien, i couldn't see his face, but he was standing right in front of me.

He ran towards me with his legs and arms flopping in a weird way !!

8:00 AM

I gasped and jumped out of bed.

It was just a fuckin' dream.

I walked downstairs to see mom feeding Sophien.

He side - eyed me.

I took up some toast off the kitchen counter and walked back upstairs to get a shower.

Charlotte: I'm gonna go to work, and Piper's gotta go to school, so let's call you up a sitter, shall we ?

Piper: Mom stop talking to him, he's a 14 year old and not a baby.

Charlotte: That's how i used to talk to you back in the day, you know, the days before you pushed me away.

Piper: It's not like he can understand you anyway.

Charlotte: You'd be surprised.
(She said going up the stairs)

I bent down at his wheelchair.

Piper: You know, ever since my dad died, I've been kinda distant with my mother, because at one point i blamed her for his death, but the truth is, it's not her fault, and the person who i am now is completely different from the daughter she wants me to be. And seeing her take you in and care for you like you're this glorious child, and all you do is blink, imagine if you could talk. Hospital buddy or not, I've had bad vibes since the day you walked into this house, and i don't know what you're up to, but i'm guessing whatever put you in a coma wasn't unintentional.

He started to smile !

I backed away from the wheelchair in panic.

Mom walked down the stairs.

Piper: Mom, he just smiled at me !!!

Charlotte: He smiled for the first time, how did i miss this !

Piper: No, you don't understand, this is not a good thing.

Charlotte: Honey, your school bus is here.

Pov: Sophien

I watched her walked through the door.

Pov: Piper

I looked at him as i walked through the door.

I don't know what this kid is up to, but it can't be good, for sure.
