"Oh god- it's fucking cold out here!" I yelled frustrated. It was around 12°F outside, and we still had school! "This shits so unfair!" I whined. I hated school. It sucked a lot, especially with the cold seasons. It didn't help that they shut volleyball down either!
I walked inside the building and quickly shut the door. I was in the gym. I heard others there and figured it was the team practicing for volleyball. Even though it was shut down, we still liked to practice, so we weren't rusty for the summer games. I started practicing with the others and eventually got into first period.
'God.. mates boring..' I thought. It was now 7th period as the other classes went by fast. 'Maths.. I'm almost done!' I smiled and waited till that horrid bell rung. I had a free period next, meaning I could do whatever I wanted or go home early and come back for practice.
"DINNGGGGGGGGG!!" Rung the bell. I gathered my stuff and ran out of the classroom as fast as I could. The teacher in that class was cool, but math is math, you know?
"Y/n!" My teammate, kyoshi called out. I jumped and spiked the ball over the net, ending the game and practicing. "YEAHHHHHHH!!" Kyoshi yelled out. Another girl named isanoku came over and congratulated our side of the team. "Good practice, everyone! Time to go home. Get home safe with the snow, alright? See you tomorrow, AND THERE BETTER BE NO INJURYS!!" Couch yuki yelled at us. She didn't act or sound like it, but we could tell she cared.
"Ugh.. why does my house have to be so far away!?" I yelled, frustrated once again. Then I face planted over something..
"A box?" I said quietly, confused. I picked it up and opened it up to see cats.. and a couple kittens? "Oh-?" I said, confused. "Fuck.. you kitty's are lucky my mother warned me to not leave animals in need.. or anyone for that fact.." I carried the box with me the rest of the way home.
Not without sliding a couple of times..
But that's not the point!
"Welp.." I placed the box down and opened it.
"Welcome to your new home, little ones."
